Carter Cruise is one of my favorite people. I have taken her photo a bunch of times and she DJ’d my book release party in LA and she bought us matching tattoos for my birthday 5 years ago and the first time we ever hung out was at Donald Glover’s Super Bowl party and the goddamn Seahawks blew the game. What are you doing Pete? You have god damn Marshawn Lynch and you are gonna fucking pass the ball from the 1? Sorry, still pissed off about that one. What was I talking about?

Oh yeah Carter rules and she let me shoot nudes of her even though she is pretty much done with the whole being naked on the internets thing and I really appreciate her for that. She also signed a bunch of Instax for me for Kickstarter prizes for a Kickstarter that never happened cause of the fucking coronavirus. It will probably happen one day in the future but I didn’t really feel like trying to convince people to buy a book when everyone was unemployed.

Speaking of convincing people to give me money while they are unemployed this whole shoot is available in high resolution on Girls of Driven By Boredom and has a bunch of full nudes that are exclusive just to that site. Just want to give a huge shout out to my brother’s girlfriend Lauren who not only let me take these photos in her apartment but also let me stay there for a few days when I was in LA back in January. She had just moved in with my brother and she hadn’t rented out her place yet so I got to stay there which was fucking awesome because hotels in LA are unreasonably expensive. 

Okay this was super rambling but I really like these photos so hopefully you do to and can’t wait until coronavirus is over so I can go to LA and hang out with Carter and her super rad (and also very hot) roommate who let me take photos of her too but they are just on Girls of DBB because she didn’t want to be naked on the free internet which seems totally reasonable to me. They also just started a clothing company together and they have a pool which I want to be in right now. I recently have been going back through my hard drive looking for old video that I can use to update my new OnlyFans with when I came across all the footage for my series Road Strip that I made for Wood Rocket back in 2013. I spent a month on the road, the first half of that on Route 66 working on my first book, Get Your Kicks. I don’t really shoot video but I set up a GoPro in my rental car and that series helped me pay for the trip and fly some models to me. 

One of those models was Ash Hollywood. I love Ash and we have shot a bunch of times but when I started the trip she wasn’t part of the plans, it just happened that she had driven to Vegas for work and a flight from Vegas to Albuquerque was only like $150. She flew to me and we spent a few days on Route 66 ending with a short detour to Vegas to drop her back off at her car. It worked out perfectly. We even got to shoot at the Grand Canyon!

On one night of the trip we decided to stay in Holbrook, Arizona. It’s home to some giant dinosaur sculptures at the Rainbow Rock Shop and was one of my main spots to hit on the trip because the dinosaurs are such an iconic Route 66 symbol. (Not to be confused with the Cabazon dinosaurs, where I have also taken photos.) When we got to Holbrook it was pretty early evening but already dark so we had to stop. We ended up staying at a place called the Romney Motel which was a huge mistake given that one of the few remaining Wigwam Motels is in Holbrook (fortunately I was able to stay there with my good friend Alex who recently passed – I will remember that forever). 

Anyway, because we had a few hours before we went to sleep we checked out the town and hit a weird gift shop and maybe a bar and a sign for geodes. Seriously I backed my rental car into a giant sign advertising geodes for sale. I cracked my tail light and had to return the car a day early because my insurance only covered 30 days and I had the car for 31. Sorry, none of this matters but I am reminiscing. 

The point of all this is that we had hours to kill before we went to bed so we just took a ton of photos in the room. The light sucked and we were just sort of fucking around. Half the photos I took while laying on the bed which is honestly my favorite way of shooting because I am lazy. When I started posting photos from the trip I had a bunch of stuff with Ash and so I guess I just never posted these. I probably just didn’t want to color correct them, because as you will see, I am horrible at that shit. 

So seven years later to the day, I was looking for that video footage, when suddenly I realized I had shots from Holbrook that I had never posted. I double checked my site and nope, they never made it. A few images were part of a bigger gallery on Girls of DBB but the vast majority of them had never been published! 

Now I know that this post is very long already, but there is another important thing that I need to talk about, which brings together both Girls of DBB and my Only Fans which is kinda complicated because my branding sucks but I now have two pay sites. The Girls of DBB mobile app which I forever just called Girls of DBB and now an OnlyFans which is also called Girls of DBB. It’s very confusing, so now Girls Of DBB is it’s own site and URL with links to both the mobile app and the OnlyFans with the explanations of what each are. In order to promote this I have Ash Hollywood stuff on both sites.

On Girls of DBB – the photo site – I have this full Ash Hollywood set in high resolution PLUS another 30 bonus photos that are way more explicit than the normal stuff I put on here. For some reason Ash was trying to smoke her e-sig with her vagina which we now have documented and that is very important. Meanwhile on the OnlyFans I am currently uploading a video that was never used in the Road Strip series where Ash is hanging out naked in the motel telling you all about Holbrook, AZ and our plans to visit the Grand Canyon. One of these days I am gonna get my life organized and not wait a full fucking year to post the photos I take. Whenever I do a shoot I always make sure to get the models some images right away and then I always send them the 35mm stuff when I post it, but because I am always sitting on so much content I forget about shoots because in my brain I already published the photos since I posted stuff on my social media channels, etc. I just suddenly had this realization that I never posted this shoot that I did with a model named Hope and immediately uploaded the photos to Girls of DBB.

But once I posted those photos last week I still didn’t post them here because I had the 4th of July protest photos and all of that and finally after 50 weeks, we have Hope’s photos here!

I have two favorite types of shoots. I love doing stuff really fast in crazy locations like shooting inside the head of the T-Rex at Cabazon Dinosaurs. It’s so much fun. But my other favorite type of shoot is when I can just sit on the end of a bed or something and spend a couple hours shooting someone in their room or a hotel where I just get to chill the fuck out and hang out with rad people while shooting and my shoot with Hope was very much the second. 

Hope is chill as fuck and we just hung out in her room talking and taking photos. She has some fish and I had just got into fish keeping and I was psyched to talk to someone who is into it instead of driving my friends crazy talking about my shrimp breeding midlife crisis. We shot some stuff for a zine I am working on that has been indefinitely put on hold by the god damn coronavirus but will exist at some point. You just don’t get to see any of those photos yet. We also did a shoot in her kitchen which didn’t have any nudity but is pretty hot anyway cause she has a really cool butt which is how I met her in the first place. Someone showed me her Instagram because I needed good butts for that aforementioned zine. 

The only other thing I need to do is plug my pay sites real quick and we can get on to the photos… As I mentioned, these photos have been on Girls of DBB for days in high resolution. The gallery also features about 5 full nudes that aren’t in this gallery because the pandemic unemployment bonus runs out in two weeks and I need to pay rent. Time for a momentary break from the unending nightmare that is this current moment in history. I got some photos for you that you might like of Alex Grey shot in about 10 minutes as the sun was setting in Las Vegas back in January. 

I had met Alex at one of the bars at the Hard Rock during one of the first nights of AVN and we quickly decided we were going to shoot while we were both in town. Unfortunately that week is completely insane and we didn’t have any time to meet up. I had a late flight on the Monday after AVN and she was leaving that same evening to go back to LA so we scheduled a shoot for that day.  But of course something had to go wrong and when Alex went to check out of her hotel she noticed that she had a flat tire. So we planned to meet after and I went and hit some flea markets with my friends from Wood Rocket but it was getting later and later and I hadn’t heard from her. 

I texted her to see what was up and she was still somehow at the tire shop and had been there for like 5 hours just waiting on a tire. I told her I would just meet her there and we could find some way to shoot somehow and she said sure so I left the flea market, got in an Uber and met her at a tire store. The sun was going down but the light looked really nice. But of course right as I got there her car was ready. It took another 10 minutes for her to get paid and get out of there and the whole time I am just watching the sun go down, just mildly panicking.

One of her friends was waiting with her and had a big pick up truck and we saw that behind the tire store there was a big gravel lot and we all jumped in his pick up and drove about 100 feet to the middle of the lot. It was hidden a bit unless you were driving on that road or happened to be in the drive thru at a fast food restaurant on the other side of the lot and we figured we could make it work. I am sure a few people saw what we were doing but we did the whole shoot so fast that I don’t think we upset too many people… Besides she was only topless… 

You can tell how fast the light got away from us because the light changes so dramatically in the photos from the beginning to the end but I still think we got some really nice shots. I got some 35mm I was really happy with as well. I also shot a short video as well which you can see exclusively on my new OnlyFans account. And speaking of giving me money for nudes, you can also see these photos in high resolution on Girls of DBB. Just saying. 

Okay, that’s all I got for you today. I should just mention that Alex rules and I am so glad we got to do a shoot just a few hours before I had to leave Vegas for my flight. A few months ago I had this idea to make an OnlyFans from all the random videos I have in my phone of behind the scenes stuff from photo shoots. Unfortunately it took forever to get my OF approved because it’s really designed for a single person and I had to submit a ton of release forms and IDs for people who don’t already have accounts. It was a whole ordeal and I finally got approved about two weeks ago. I didn’t feel with everything going on in the world that it was a great idea to be promoting anything so I held off for a while.

I have however been updating my account for about a week and that seems like enough stuff on there to at least start giving you content. So we have officially launched. I went through my phone recently and pulled more than 300 videos that were either NSFW or at least featured porn people doing things. These are videos that might have been on my Snapchat or posted to Twitter or for the models OnlyFans or just random things that have never been seen before. For example, when I first got a waterproof iPhone I shot a video of Jane Wilde Twerking naked in a swimming pool in slow motion and when I looked at it I realized it was way too graphic for the stuff I normally post so I never did anything with it. Well I just posted it on my OnlyFans.

I have over 300 videos to post and I will probably post some photos too, but only stuff shot with my phone. I want a place for my behind the scenes stuff. But once I start shooting again, I will also be shooting new video content just for my OnlyFans. I am actually kinda excited for that because it gives me some reason to focus on video even if it’s just short iPhone stuff. I am sure there will be more explicit stuff as well since it isn’t public facing. I am kinda excited about the whole thing so I hope some of you are too.

The last photo shoot I did was on March 13th. The coronavirus was already causing panic in NYC and just walking around Manhattan was very weird. It was also the last time I left Brooklyn. Fast forward two and a half months later I finally did a photo shoot and I figured I would take advantage of the currently vacant bedroom in my apartment and do a socially distant photoshoot. 

Before my friend Ashley came over I taped off a 6″ circle in the corner of the room and asked her to match her underwear to her mask. She also happened to have black gloves which I didn’t even ask about but worked out pretty well. I was wearing a mask during the whole shoot as well and every time I went to take a photo with my non autofocus 35mm camera I had to hold my breath because it would fog the viewfinder and I couldn’t tell if the shot was in focus.

We didn’t shoot very long but it was honestly just good to talk to another person in real life. I haven’t had a lot of that recently. Despite the short shoot, the light significantly changed and by the time she got completely naked the photos didn’t look that great. But, I figured that works out perfectly so I can give you guys the topless ones and then if you want to look at the full nude ones you can sign up for my paysite and lurk those over there. It just makes sense. 

Speaking of spending money, my 40th birthday is tomorrow and I am going to be spending it alone on my couch instead of doing some crazy road trip like I had planned so you should buy something from my store and get us both a present. You get some cool book or zine or print and I get some money to buy fish food with for my midlife crisis aquariums.

Here’s another one of those shoots lost to time. I met Kel through my friend Jess who I haven’t seen in over a year and I realized these photos of Kel are from over a year ago but hey, here we are. And they are real pretty too. You might actually like them. Not sure why I didn’t publish them until now.

These photos are my very standard type of shoot where I shoot a model in their home with natural light and all of that, but this time Kel had some sort of rainbow thing on the window that made everything real Instagram filtery. It probably doesn’t really look like anything I would normally shoot.

After the shoot we walked around and took some more photos outside with some cherry blossoms and shot some real spring shit that makes me miss being outside a lot. I think we walked several miles. It was pretty nice. I think I am gonna walk into the city soon because I haven’t left my neighborhood in Brooklyn in exactly two months today.

With the end of the world at hand more people are turning to naked internet stuff to make a living and I have several friends that have started OnlyFans accounts to make a living (Mine is coming soon… like this week soon…). Fortunately for you guys that means that you get to see some old shoots I had never published before. Unfortunately for you guys it also means you need to spend some money to see them. I have recently uploaded three shoots that are exclusive to my paysite Girls of Driven By Boredom, for a couple of different reasons. 

First up we have the oldest shoot. I shot a bunch of 35mm photos of my friend Tine, aka Tine Dream, way back in 2011 on a road trip across country. Aside from my zine NOT SAFE and my book Instaxxx none of the NSFW stuff had ever been published. Fast forward to 2020 and Tine is not only doing her OnlyFans but she also wants to start doing actual adult work when this is all over. I, for one, am psyched about. 

Next up is my friend Eddy. I have shot her before, but only implied nude stuff. Again, the only actual topless stuff we had shot was in the “Mini” edition of Instaxxx. But we did a photo shoot shortly after the fires in California had kicked her out of her home in Malibu. She was sleeping on couches and we had this idea that we would do a shoot to raise money to help the wildfire recovery. Unfortunately we never got around to actually figuring out a good way to do that and since we are both broke right now the charity we are raising money for is ourselves. This shoot is exclusive to my site Girls of Driven By Boredom AND her OnlyFans. She is keeping her OF user name on the downlow though, so you need to follow her on Instagram and DM her to get that info. We shot these photos at her friend Michelle’s shop Spacedust in LA so check them out, they are selling some cool masks during this nightmare.

Lastly we have sort of the opposite situation with Natalie. I was introduced to her by my good friend Carter Cruise who is her roommate. Carter was DJing in Vegas and I went over to their hotel room and took some photos of Nat (and a few of Carter) during AVN Week. I feel like we really hit it off and took a ton of great stuff. I particularly loved the 35mm stuff we shot. Natalie asked me not to post any of the NSFW stuff publicly because she has no idea where she will be career wise after this whole pandemic thing is over and I totally get that. I can’t tell you how many times I have taken down photos because of someone’s work. Always happy to do it, I don’t ever want my photos to fuck up anyone’s life. So yeah, if you want to see all the photos of Natalie there is only one place to see them. But she is so fucking cool and photogenic so I hope I get to take a lot more photos of her when this is all over.

It took a pandemic for me to finally catch up on organizing my photos, but here we are. Obviously I still have 2020 to organize, but let’s just say I don’t think the best of 2020 is going to be a very big update. Not a lot of crazy events or intimate photoshoots happening right now, but I am trying to at least stay productive every day. As per all of these “Best of” updates I am gonna run through a few of my favorite events with some links if you want to check out more but honestly 2019 is mostly just naked people with a handful of events thrown in. I really want to get back into more of the events and journalism but not a great time for that right now. I should probably be out in the street shooting signs of the virus but it feels really selfish of me to risk the lives of my elderly neighbors just so I can take some photos, but maybe I am just a coward and making excuses. Moving on.

Every year my two biggest events are AVN Week and The Gathering of the Juggalos. I also had been to SXSW 14 years in a row but I missed it in 2019. I had my trip booked this year and the festival got canceled less than 24 hours after I bought my plane tickets. At least I got my money back. 

I shot some political stuff, which I would love to do more of like a pro choice protest and an Elizabeth Warren rally. I also shot some stuff for Gothamist including this really cool trash museum. I shot Exxxotica NJ which pretty much looks like AVN so you probably can’t tell the difference and I shot some BTS on my friend’s short film. I somehow just shot a single event for Sailor Jerry, but they did sponsor the #MetLifeTakeover.  Oh and I shot some photos in the snow that I just posted on Twitter or something so didn’t have a proper gallery. 

Honestly that’s it except for a bunch of naked girls. It’s pretty distressing to see now that I look at it all. I had a few corporate jobs that aren’t in here (I did include an outtake from some head shots I shot for a friend), but I really need to be doing more non naked work. But whatever, there are a bunch of nudes and you are probably here for that anyway so rejoice. If you see some photos in here that you haven’t seen before they are probably coming, or maybe I just uploaded them to Girls of DBB and you are too cheap to pay $3 a month to see it. That’s on you.
