Shay Laren is the easiest model I have ever photographed. Both times I have shot her she has a) had a location b) had her outfits picked out c) been perfect. She is so pretty, has an amazing body, is totally cool and 50% of the photos I take of her come out great. Usually when shooting models that ratio is more like 1 good one for every 10 photos. Ellen Stagg told me about Shay ages ago and she spoke so highly of her and it’s really clear why Ellen loves Shay. She is a god damned professional.

Holy shit. If the NYC Zombie Crawl wasn’t enough there was an insane after party at The Studio at Webster Hall. A lot of the thousand plus zombies went home and missed out on total insanity. It was a little too empty all night for some reason but the couple hundred people who stuck around were in for a treat. There was a Nine Inch Nails cover band fronted by an Elvis impersonator (Nine Inch Elvis), there was an all girl metal cover band (Thunder Box) who blew people away from their opener Ace of Spades all the way to their closer Run To The Hills. Troma’s Lloyd Kaufman showed up and played a sneak peak of his new Class of Nuke Em High remake. Lots of the cast were there and were causing all sorts of trouble. My girl Scarlett Storm showed up with her friend Smurf and they did horror themed burlesque. At the end of the night there was some sort of sexy zombie contest where the only person not dressed up was the only person to get naked. But there was vomiting and sexy dancing. Also there were human flesh pulls, I mean obviously. Honestly the whole night was a fucking blur. I wasn’t drinking but I felt drunk (There was a lot of cheap Sailor Jerry and PBR though) and got a bunch of girls naked in the back room and in the bathroom. It was like an old school DBB night. Lot’s of fun, total weirdness and tons of wild NSFW pictures. Look at them!

The NYC Zombie Crawl is back! This year they started out at Webster Hall before heading up to Union Square, over to Beauty Bar, down to the Continental before heading back to Webster for a fucking insane after party. I took close to 150 photos of the crawl and I am going to break it up into two updates. Today you are getting just the crawl and then I will be back tomorrow with the after party. The crawl pictures are insane because zombie leader Doug Sakman is a lunatic, many laws were broken and there is some NSFW stuff from both Goddess Shea and Troma’s Zac Amico, but the after party pics are full of nudity and heavy metal. I am back from Puerto Rico tomorrow but I want to get up these shots of Indigo Augustine real quick because it probably will be a day or two before I get anything else up. Indigo is really hot and she has one of the best bodies that exist according to medical science. The first time we shot it was in a bathroom and it was like 105 degrees and the photos were not our best work. It was the first time we met and we have become pretty good friends since then. The second time we shot was with her girlfriend at the time Melina Mason (more Melina coming soon!). They had been out drinking and we didn’t have a location so we shot some weird, poorly color balanced photos of them in my bath tub. I just always thought Indigo deserved some better shots and we finally got to take some photos at her place in LA a few months back. I was really happy with the photos and I hope you guys are too. She is  a total fox and I think the photos do her justice.

I met Aiden Starr at Disneyland for Dana Dearmond‘s birthday a few years ago. I met Bobbi Starr that day as well and two years later I have photographed all three of them. Totally exciting and magical. Aiden is awesome and she happened to live right next door to my girlfriend’s old place so the day before my girlfriend moved out I went over to Aiden’s place and took a bunch of naked photos of her at like 10am or something wildly early like that.

When I was a younger man and the internet was not as awesome as it now is someone gave me a VHS tape with one of Raylene’s porn scenes on it. She was one of the biggest names in porn at the time. I actually think that she had her own action figure. I had a huge crush on her and she was my favorite porn star for years until “alt porn” was born and I could finally jerk off to girls who looked like the punk rock chicks I was actually hitting on in real life. Sorry I have been away. My girlfriend has been in town and I have been redoing my apartment. I also have worked two gigs that don’t really make for interesting photos so I haven’t posted them. I am going to make it up to you with these Jenna Valentine pics though!

Jenna Valentine is a total babe and not only does she model for Gods Girls but she also is sort of the mother hen to the Girls and she does rad things like find me naked ladys to take photos of when I am out of town. I love shooting girls in LA because there is amazing light and everyone has great apartments to shoot in and there are tons of porn babes that want to get naked for me for some reason. New York is a bit tougher… everyone lives in shit holes, the big buildings block out all the light and there are less girls who get naked full time. But one thing New York has going for it is that girls can legally be topless in public and there is no better location than the streets of NYC.

I was introduced to Finch Linden on Twitter through mutual friends that I know from Gods Girls. Finch is a model there but she shoots more than your average tattooed cam girl and she knows what she is doing. I was pretty excited to shoot Finch when she came to NYC but I didn’t really have any locations. Being the bad ass motherfucker that she is, she was totally down to just get naked outside. I of course totally supported this idea and we hit the streets of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I have already shot on Canal and Broadway, which is probably the busiest intersection in Manhattan outside of Times Square, so I tried to figure out the ballsiest spot to shoot in Brooklyn. I figured that Bedford and North 7th in Williamsburg would be perfect. It’s right outside the Bedford L train and really the heart of the hipsteriest neighborhood in the world. It was the perfect spot.

I got Finch in to position right on the corner and waited for a moment when I figured a lot of people would be crossing the street and would make it into the shot and Finch took off her dress and threw it to me. What I was not expecting was that she was not wearing any underwear. We just crossed the line from totally legal to sex offender status. This caught me off guard and everyone who was about to cross the street just stopped in their tracks and watched me shoot. I shot off as many photos is I could in 15 seconds and then we got the fuck out of there. I ended up getting some good shots but missing what could have been a truly epic photo.

From there Finch and I walked around the neighborhood trying to find some slightly less arrestable places to shoot, but we had an audience for all the mini shoots. We went to the Williamsburg Waterfront and over to McCarren Park and a few places in between. It was a really bright day so I couldn’t see my camera’s screen so I was relying on the light meeter and bracketing and trying to shoot really quickly. Finch on the other hand was dealing with the wind and the heat and kept trying to keep her hair out of her face. The combination led to missing some really amazing shots and I didn’t even want to look at these photos for a while. Finch is such a good model and was so down to take crazy photos but I just kept missing the shots I wanted. Luckily I took enough photos, and Finch is super babelicious so when I finally got around to looking at the photos it turns out we got some pretty awesome shots anyway. I am pretty sure you guys are going to dig them a lot whatever the case and hopefully one day Finch and I will get to shoot again and make even more awesomeness. But hot girls plus public nudity always wins, so let’s get into it…

Most of you are probably too young to remember the days when you had to watch actual slide shows of vacation photos. I remember my grandparents went on a safari in Kenya in the 80’s and I had to sit there and watch all these slides projected on the wall for what seemed like hours. I thought the elephants and giraffes were cool but when you are 7 years old it gets really tedious really quickly. Vacation photos are almost always boring but fortunately for you guys I don’t do vacations like most people.

I rarely go on vacation because my whole life is sort of a vacation but once a year, every year, three of my closest friends and I go on a fishing trip in the small town of Lewes, DE. This year was a little bit different because sadly my friend Jamie’s grandmother died and it was just three of us. We also had the fishing boat we were going to go on get canceled twice which means we had to go fishing on a pier instead of on a boat but it was fun and relaxing and I have some pretty weird friends. My friend Barry is a 6’6″ tall in shape black dude with questionable taste in style and my friend Sam is a short nerdy Jewish guy. I have known them both since I was 10 but the three of us look really weird rolling into Dairy Queen together.

After the fishing trip I spent a day in DC with my parents before heading out to LA for my girlfriend’s birthday. She wanted to go to the desert to celebrate so we spent a day in LA, four days in the desert and then I hung out for another few days in LA. When we got back to LA from the desert I did a little bit of work and photographed two naked porn chicks but mostly it was just hanging out in bed with my girlfriend and eating lots and lots of food.

It seems like your normal vacation except that my girlfriend is a porn star and we went to the Salton Sea so shit got weird. You saw the photos we took in abandoned homes in Bombay Beach but you didn’t see the photos we took on the beach or in Niland, CA. Niland is this dying city at the far northeast end of the Salton Sea. It is an amazing place on it’s own but on the outskirts of Niland there is a place called Slab City. Slab City is a free RV park that has people living there year round. It’s sort of like a giant hobo camp in the summer full of crazy people, meth addicts, hippies and outlaws. The sign on the way in claims in spray paint that it’s “The Last Free City”. There is a shoe tree and a venue/bar made out of a bunch of trailers stuck together that has live music on the weekends. I really want to spend some time there at some point in my life. It’s incredible.

Slab City is in the shadow of one of the weirdest and most amazing tourist attractions in the country. “Salvation Mountain” is an art project started by a man name Leonard Knight. He built a mountain out of sand and trash and has been painting it for decades with religious messages.  Despite my disinterest in religion I have wanted to see this thing for years and meet Mr. Knight. Unfortunately he was put into a home for dementia late last year. From what I know about him he was a very kind man and never preachy and created an amazing work of art. A twenty something guy with a beard was working on it when we got there and was very nice as well. I asked him if I could take his picture and he said “This is Slab City. You can do whatever you want.” Amazing.

So yeah, this is not your normal vacation slideshow. We did some touristy stuff like visiting Shield’s Date Garden and Pioneertown but a lot of the photos are just of her naked all over the place so you cannot complain about that. We ran into Vincent Gallo at Dana DeArmond’s place and he gave us tons of tips on the Salton Sea, we hung out with a really cute puppy and there are outtakes from two shoots with naked porn babes. So yeah, you get some pretty shots of clouds and landscapes and touristy things, but you also get naked girls, dead fish and adorable puppies. It’s a pretty fun gallery and it’s all shot on 35mm. You even get some black and white stuff.
