Despite my history of documenting the “EDM” scene for the last half decade I actually don’t like dance music. To me it’s just background music for a fun party. The only things I look for in a dance music DJ is someone who puts on a good show and packs a party with a fun crowd. One of my favorite people in NYC is Luca Venezia aka Drop The Lime of Trouble & Bass. T&B have been throwing awesome dance parties in Brooklyn for almost as long as I have lived here. So when Luca started experimenting with a musical genre I actually like, rockabilly, I was really psyched about it. I kept missing him play with a live band as Drop The Lime but last night I finally got to see his new rock and roll band, Haters.

Haters played a new rock and roll monthly called Black Label Circus at The Flat which is pretty much my favorite bar on Earth. It’s a block from my house and always a good time, especially at 3am when I am hungry and stop by on the way to get some food at the bodega down the street. I have never shot photos there but I hang out there all the time. In fact if you are ever there Tweet at me and maybe I will come down and say hi.

Haters fucking ruled and I can’t wait to see them play after more than four practices. I love good, not corny, rockabilly and Haters is that. Luca is a hell of a front man and they get a ton of sound from just drums and guitar. I am really glad he has started fucking with this stuff because maybe it will introduce a bunch of his dance music fans to people like Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran.

After Haters played a raw rock and roll band called Dirty Fences played and really killed it. They had a good crowd and people rocked the fuck out to their whole set. After that the rock and roll dance party continued with The Captain, JR Jailbat and Bad Lupo. After shooting a few NSFW pictures of Lena Marquise just to spice the set up I headed home to edit images.

Around 3am I decided I needed to get some food so I headed back towards the Flat and stopped in on the way to the bodega. I ended up leaving close to 5am, going to a friends house and I think I might have gone to sleep around 9am. I never even got any food. Woops.

It was a fun night and I saw a ton of people I hadn’t seen in ages including my friends Bianca and Nikki who happen to both be retarded hot and half naked doing some rock and roll go-go dancing for the party.

If I know anything about the internet is that boobs and cute animals are the only things that matter. Brittany Lynn has big boobs (and a bigger butt) and the most adorable chihuahua puppy ever so this set is sure to break all the intertubes. Seriously, I don’t really even have that much to say other than holy shit that puppy is cute. Everyone I have shown these photos to in the few months since I shot them is just like “OMG WTF” so I am pretty sure you guys are going to like them. I think we just need to get to the photos and I need to stop talking about it.

I met Terri when she was an intern at Mishka. I actually don’t remember how we met but I found out while we were shooting that she worked for Mishka and she happened to be doing a lot of the press for my art show there. It was pretty coincidental. Whatever the case, I shot her naked on her roof deck thing and it was a good time but it super bright out and not the most ideal light, but I guess that’s my fault for not planning the shoot better. Whatever the case we managed to get some fun stuff and um, I think you will like it. She has some pretty rad boobs that you should stare at. She also introduced me to Ginzilla so we should thank her for that!

A year and a half ago I met a babe by the name of Sidney Scarlet when I was in Chicago. I shot a party that she was hosting and the next day we did a photo shoot. We hit it off really well and when I was in Chicago for Pitchfork over the summer we had to shoot again. The first time I photographed her I shot her at my friend Matt’s house from Darkroom Demons. This time I shot Sidney at Matt’s partner Tyler’s place so I have to give much props to the Demons for putting me up whenever I am in Chicago.

Anyway, back to the boobs. Sidney rules and it was great to actually get time to shoot her. The first time we shot she got stuck in traffic and the sun was setting so we had to rush the shoot before the light was gone. This time we had plenty of time and I took so many damn photos of her. There are more than 70 photos in this massive gallery. After the shoot we got food and I took a photo of her flashing her boobs on the street in the touristy neighborhood of Old Town Chicago. Good times.

In unrelated news, I know I haven’t been posting a ton on here but I am working on a bunch of fun stuff. I think I am signing a book deal this week, I am getting pretty close to having my website redesigned, the food zine that I have been working on for two years is a couple months a way and tomorrow I am photographing a girl in a hot tub full of hamburgers. I think 2013 is going to be a good year assuming the world doesn’t end before the weekend.

My friends over at the sex art cult that is Darling House want to turn their website into a print magazine so the founder JM Darling decided to throw a fundraiser. He asked his photographer friends for some photos to sell for extremely cheap prices and then threw a big party at Galapagos Art Space around that. I donated eight images because I am always down to support perverted causes and I was excited to be included in a show with some of my favorite photographers like Steve Prue, Bob Coulter, Corwin Prescott, Dave Naz and Tony Stamolis.

Aside from the art their was tons of performances. Bastard Keith hosted the performances and did some fantastic songs of his own. The amazing Stoya did two aerial routines, getting naked hanging upside down 2o feet in the air. Two of my favorite NYC burlesque performers, Stormy Leather and Madame Rosebud did several fully nude routines and included Darling House member Sovereign Syre in them. Eric Walton did magic that was not nearly as painful as most magic is, Brandon B told funny stories about terrifying gay sex experiences and the sex-comedy band The Reformed Whores did two extremely offensive country ditties. JM Darling himself told an amazing true story about how he and his entire family was murdered by pirates. I am pretty sure he should stop shooting naked girls and just write several books because his life growing up was far more interesting than any set of boobs.

The night ended with a discussion on sex work with Sovereign Syre, Stoya, Lux Alptraum, and Buck Angel. Sov led the discussion and Stoya talked about how the internet helped her become one of the biggest stars in the adult industry. Lux is the editor of Fleshbot, Gawker’s porn blog and one of my favorite websites. She talked about how she started combining her interest in sex and sex education with the internet from starting a porn site to writing about sex to finally taking over Fleshbot several years ago. Buck Angel is a man you should be familiar with. He was born a woman but had the most convincing sex change ever except for one thing… he still has a vagina. This guy who looks like a gay fantasy of a construction worker took down his pants on stage and showed everyone his vagina. It was pretty awesome. At the end of the conversation all four people on stage showed the crowd their vaginas, an amazing photograph that I totally missed because my leg fell asleep and I stood up and walked away from the stage about 3 minutes before it happened. Tragic.

The whole show was pretty amazing and the photos are extremely NSFW. The photos on stage are pretty awful because the lights were clearly controlled by a criminally insane person who kept it way too dark most of the time so I had to shoot at 4000 ISO and then when it was bright enough would shine super hot lights on the performers faces. It made for constant frustration and mediocre photos. But honestly none of that matters because what is happening in the photos is way more important than the actual photos. I assure you these photos are worth checking out.

My friends Damon and Veruca James have a really rad apartment in Hollywood and whenever I visit LA I make sure I head over there and take advantage of their pool and hot tub. Damon grills hot dogs and such and a bunch of porn girls show up and everyone gets drunk and naked. Good times. I really wanted to shoot Krissie Dee, a Burning Angel, I met when I was at Musink. I invited her to one of the James’ parties and I figured we could shoot in their apartment before we hit the pool. I of course forgot that Damon has a cat and Veruca has two. I am severely allergic to cats so when Krissie showed up we started shooting immediately and finished the entire NSFW shoot in about six minutes. Fortunately Krissie is a total babe and the light in the James’ apartment is lovely and we got some great shots out of our speed shoot. Plus right after I convinced my Veruca, my girlfriend and Kory Minx to get naked and grab a cat and we took my current Twitter avatar.  Good times.

A couple of years ago I met a porn babe named Ash Hollywood at the AVN Awards. I didn’t really think I would see her again but a few months later she was living with my friend Tori Lux. I came over to shoot Tori and a couple days later I came back and did a shoot with Ash in their garage. I thought the set was a lot of fun because I got to shoot through this gate and when it opened I got some interesting shots of Ash holding on to it and being lifted into the air.

Since that shoot went so well I knew I wanted to shoot Ash again. A few months ago I went out to LA to help my girlfriend, Kimberly Kane, move into an amazing penthouse loft in DTLA with her Clips4Sale studio partner Nate Liquor. The two of them moved in together so they could have an amazing place to shoot. I knew I had to take advantage of the space before there was anything in the apartment so the day before they moved in I called Ash over and we did a quick photo shoot. The light was so amazing and their was a great spiral staircase to work with so we got some amazing photos very, very quickly. It was one of my all time easiest shoots and Ash looks amazing. You guys are going to love these obviously NSFW photos.

I met Melina Mason when she was dating my good friend Indigo Augustine. The three of us had a shoot planned but things didn’t quite go accordingly and we ended up just photographing them in my bathtub for some reason. A year or so goes by and I run into Melina again at the Chicago Exxxotica. She had moved out to LA, got fake boobs, a porn star makeover but she is still the same rad New Yorker she used to be. It was a pretty physical big change from her Suicide Girls days so I was really psyched to shoot her again especially with a much better location. After she got done signing autographs at Exxxotica we went back to her hotel room for a quick photo shoot.

I am pretty sure you guys are going to dig these photos. She light in her hotel room was pretty great and she has one of the best butts I have ever seen. Now that I finally posted these photos I can’t wait to shoot her again!

I met Josie Jacobs years ago in Vegas and I always wanted to shoot her but she had a boyfriend and wouldn’t get naked.  Eventually Josie broke up with her boyfriend and moved to LA and decided she would get naked on my internets. I appreciate that even though she seems really uncomfortable as a model. I also think we were in a hurry because I feel like the lighting sucks in these photos and there is no real reason for that. Since we took these she has modeled more and I feel like if we had more time in a different location we could do a way better job and that is going to happen sooner or later. Still, Josie is real cute and her boobs rule and everyone on the internet seems to want to see these photos so it’s time to release them into the world.
