I updated the Driven By Boredom Etsy store with some fun new stuff! We have nude signed Polaroids featuring Ash Hollywood, Janice Griffith and Mabel Wolfe. They are all signed by both me and the sexy ladies on them and numbered out of five. I took the Ash Hollywood Polaroids in Vegas after I photographed her for an issue of Hustler. Ash is one of my favorite models and I dig these photos. I shot the Mabel Wolfe shots the day we met in Richmond, VA. We are pretty good friends now so that day was an important one! Lastly the shots of Janice Griffith were shot in her apartment in LA in January. Janice is adorable and brand new girl and she’s totally blowing up. She is so new that she had to practice her signature a few times before she signed the Polaroids because she had never signed anything using her stage name before!

I also added some stickers and buttons to the Etsy store and there is a bunch of things already up there! There are a couple Skin Diamond Polaroids and even an Alysha Nett one left! Plus the last few copies of my book are in the store with exciting inflated prices!

Last Friday night I went to Trash for the last time. Trash was one of the first parties in NYC I ever photographed. I remember lying to the door guy to get in cheap on New Years Eve in 2006-2007. I didn’t know anyone back then but I knew Trash was a fun party. I photographed Trash at Rififi, Home Sweet Home, 40C and finally the Studio at Webster Hall. Every party was different and in my opinion none of the locations were as fun as the original, but after 12 years of a party shit changes.

I threw probably five birthday parties at Trash and I even threw a party for the 10th anniversary of me losing my virginity! I met so many good friends, made out with so many cute girls and did an amazing amount of regrettable things at Trash. Man, I loved that party.

DJ Jess decided to call his party quits because he wanted to move on and travel and do things that he couldn’t do with a weekly party that he was responsible for. I completely understand and as sad as I am to see Trash go, it’s probably time. No party can last forever, even one as legendary as Trash.

Trash went out with a bang too. Jess brought back Alex Malfunction who had gone off to get married and have a family. Twig The Wonder Kid was there of course except he actually let me take his photo for once. The burlesque numbers from Albert Cadabra, Go Go Harder and Dangerrr Doll were extra NSFW with all three of them getting completely naked at some point. My old friend Apathy Angel was gogoing and tons of old friends came out to say good bye. It was lovely.

The party went way later than four am and probably would have gone on even longer with DJ Jess spinning encore after encore, but I decided to unplug everything during the fifth tribute to Trash. Like Terry Schiavo before it, Trash needed to be put to bed once and for all.

I ended up at a diner at 6am with everyone just like back in the day. It really was the perfect way to end Trash. I will miss it but from it’s ashes something else will rise. That’s just how NYC works.

A new episode of my web series Road Strip is out! It’s my favorite one so far and it really gets into the heart of the Route 66 trip I did last summer. The first episode took place in Detroit with Dixie Comet which wasn’t even part of the Route 66 trip. The second episode took place in Chicago with Caprice Capone. Most of the episode takes place at Navy Pier in Chicago which is unofficially the start of Route 66, but it wasn’t until this most recent issue that we get on the road!

I drove Sidney Scarlet from Chicago to St. Louis. It took three days even though it’s only a four hour drive. On the first day we spent a lot of time dealing with her broken phone and a terrible rain storm but the episode is still full of really fun stuff like a giant chicken, the Gemini Giant and a ton of nudity! The episode ends with a quick photo shoot we did in our hotel room and guess what? You get to see those photos today! (There are even more shots of Sidney of the Girls of DBB app!)

I met Stoya many years ago and we have become pretty good friends but until recently we had never done a proper photo shoot. I have a ton of photos of her drinking milkshakes and things like that but none of her naked on my Interents (okay ALMOST none). Fortunately, Stoya saw this shoot I did of a naked girl on the Subway. Stoya does naked acrobatics for a living and she thought it would be a fantastic idea for a shoot and who was I to argue? It makes the third time I have done a naked photo shoot on the train and it will not be the last. I even got Hustler on board and photos from this shoot were published in March 2014 issue of Hustler Magazine.

Stoya is very fancy and bi-costal so I met her at place in Brooklyn that she lives in when she’s in NYC. We took a bunch of photos there because we needed full nude stuff for Hustler and she only wanted to get topless on the train. It’s technically legal to be topless in NYC but not fully nude and she had a big photo shoot the next day and didn’t really want to be in jail for it. So we did a mini shoot at her place and I got some nice shots including some adorable ones of her brushing her teeth topless.

After that we headed to the M train. We got totally lucky because their was construction and they were running a shuttle train between three stops. So all we did was take the shuttle train back in forth in the middle of the night. We did it about four times and only once did we have a person in our train car. It would have worked out perfectly except Stoya quickly realized that it’s really hard to do her circus tricks on a moving train because it throws off her balance. Luckily she was able to do a few fun moves and she is totally fucking adorable so it doesn’t really matter.

In conclusion, Stoya is amazing and I am glad she exists and I am really glad I got to finally photograph her and even get us both paid for it. I hope to do it again one day soon…

So Driven By Boredom turned 13 on Saturday and the party was a total shit show of amazingess and undeniable weirdness. I only drink on special occasions and for some reason I decided the DBB anniversary was going to be one of those occasions and people kept buying me drinks and by 10pm I had about 15 shots of rum and left my party before it ended, went home, vomited, napped and came back to the Flat around 2am to apologize and ended up staying there til 4am and for whatever reason went to bed around 7.

The party itself was pretty fun, or at least that’s what people keep telling me. My friend Friday Jones talked her former apprentice Tim Acupunx to do Driven By Boredom tattoos live. We only ended up getting three done but two of them were on hot girls who got tattooed topless for no real reason other than boobs.

I was supposed to do live nude photo shoots and  technically I did do one but I was so drunk by that point that the photos are terrible. Like when you look at these photos you will see a pretty steady decline in quality and a steady increase in insanity and nudity. I think somebody should graph it. There’s a lot of photos of me in there too which is odd. I think Mark from Return To Nuke Em High took those photos and I am pretty sure we started a band but what the fuck do I know?

Shout out to Scarlett Storm and Alicia for being my nude models for the evening and getting tattooed! Pretty sure there were other people who were supposed to get naked but I was too drunk to deal with that. For example Deanna Deadly was supposed to come and I texted her the next morning to see why she didn’t make it and then I looked at my photos and I had taken her photo and apparently talked to her but I have no memory of that. And shout out to my friend Joy who just took her shirt off and started hanging out because I guess that’s what you do when you have boobs the size of your head.

Thanks to RekLES and Prince Terrence for DJing and extra special thanks to Roofeeo for DJing last because I was obliterated the entire time he was there and I left before he was off cause I am an asshole. Shout out to Bad Brilliance for showing up in and staying in his weird costume all night. Glad to see Buff Monster, Sucklord and Tod Seelie there cause they are three of the raddest artists in NYC. Awesome to have one of my best friends come up from DC and bring his brother who I haven’t seen in a decade. Great to have a ton of the people I watch hockey with show up, was awesome to have them in the awkward mix. And thanks to everyone else who came out especially my old friends I rarely get to see. Oh, and thanks for the Village Voice for running these insane photos.

I am legit embarrassed that I got so drunk. I haven’t vomited from drinking in probably a decade. I spent all day yesterday feeling shitty, not from being hung over but from regretting the shit I did Saturday night. But whatever, it seems everybody had a great time and nothing bad actually happened. I just felt like a moron. So fuck it. The first time I met Finch Linden she was visiting NYC and we walked around Brooklyn taking naked photos in public. In New York state it’s legal to be topless in public so I took her to the busiest intersection in Williamsburg, N. 7th St. and Bedford Ave. and had her take off her dress. She was completely naked underneath which I was not expecting because I wasn’t really planning on going to jail, but we got away with it and got some pretty cool shots in the process. The only problem was that everyone stopped dead in their tracks so we didn’t really get any people in the shot because they were all watching her!

Last summer I drove up to the Bay Area in California after I finished up my epic Route 66 road trip in LA. I shot Krysta Kaos in Oakland and Tori Lux in Berkley and I knew I had to hit up Finch since she lived in San Francisco. I was running late because people in Northern California drive like little old high as fuck ladies and it is impossible to find parking. We only had a few minutes to shoot before a bunch of her friends showed up for a very serious game of Dungeons and Dragons. We ran over of course and as the house filled up with nerds there was a very naked hostess in the other room shooting with me. It was kinda great.

As you can see Finch has pretty much the greatest body in the history of naked babes and she is adorable and fun to hang out with and I would shoot her all the time if she didn’t live thousands of miles away. I have been shooting topless Polaroids of ladies since I was 18 years old. I have photographed probably close to 500 women topless or nude on some form of Instant film. You can see a part of that collection in this video Models & Rappers filmed in my apartment.

Once Polaroid stopped making instant film I was pretty bummed, fortunately Fuji picked up the slack and released Instax Wide which is slightly more elongated that the 600 or Supra that I was shooting in the past. I wasn’t a big fan at first but eventually I grew to love it.

About a year ago I started shooting sets of 5 Fuji Instax Wide shots of girls when I would do nude shoots with them. I had the girls sign the back and then I signed them and numbered them out of five. I have sold a few here and there over the last year but I kept meaning to get them up online. Well that day is finally here!

First we have April O’Neil who I have been trying to do a real shoot with for what seems like my entire life. I shot these on our quick mini shoot for a Hustler article. April is such a babe.

Next we have some shots of my good friend and burlesque performer extroidinare Madame Rosebud from our shoot at Galapagos Art Space.

Lastly we have my homegirl Phoenix Askani. I shot these on my couch when she was in town visiting. We took a bunch of photos in the snow and then shot these for fun.

I met Alex many years ago at a night club and we have taken a ton of pictures over the years but we have never done a proper photo shoot. We did do one shoot that’s on my site but it was in the basement of Lit and we shot the whole thing in about 10 minutes. We always wanted to do something more thought out but it never happened.

A few months ago Alex was on some crazy road trip and some shit happened and she had to move back home to Ohio and get her shit together a little bit. She decided when she returned to NYC she would be a little more focused and driven and she asked me if she could work for me so she could be productive while she was in town. Unfortunately I can’t really afford to hire someone so I gave her a place to stay and some running your own business life skills in exchange for her labor.

Alex absolutely killed it. I’ve had some terrible interns in my life but Alex was constantly productive. She would wake up before I did and be working and have coffee made by the time I finally got out of bed. She did a ton of tedious work on my new site redesign, she built and queued nearly 100 updates of my Me & Some Boobs Tumblr and she even ran errands. It was awesome.

Sadly Alex was only working for me for a week but I got more done in that week than I normally get done in a month. But at the end of the week we went over to my friend Brendan’s house (Buy his Lady Gaga book! I shot the back cover!) and did a lovely photo shoot in his back yard. I really dig these photos and I hope you guys do too!

Lastly, Alex is not only an awesome model and a great intern, but she is also a fantastic writer. I hope her internship with me helped her get motivated because a few months after she left she sent me a link to her brand new website filled with her short fiction. A few months ago a friend of mine introduced me to a co-worker named Brooke who wanted to take some nude photos. Brooke was 18 and had never modeled before much less done nude modeling. My friend gave Brooke my number and she texted me a few photos. I love shooting girls who have never modeled before and Brooke is adorable so of course I was down to shoot.

Brooke was super easy to shoot and although she was a little bit nervous she was great in front of the camera. The photo I posted of her on Instagram got a ton of notes and the few photos I put of her on Tumblr did really well. People were psyched to see more of this girl, I mean she is adorable, looks awesome naked and has a great butt, how could you not?

Fortunately I have a bunch of awesome naked photos of Brooke for you to look at, unfortunately she doesn’t know if she is going to keep doing nude modeling so I can’t even give you any more info about her. Personally I hope she decides to get naked a lot more often because I would shoot her again any day.
