Just a quick update to plug the newest episode of my Route 66 web series, Road Strip! It’s the last of three episodes featuring Sidney Scarlet. The trip is the last day of Illinois and we say goodbye to Sidney in St. Louis. But don’t fear, in St. Louis I meet up with the lovely Theresa Manchester as she takes me on a naked tour of her home town and then I pick up Charlotte Stokely and we head out on the road again. So there should be some great episodes coming up!

On this episode Sidney and I got caught by some bikers while we were shooting naked photos in front of a giant rocking chair. The funny thing is that at our next stop we ran into them and they were a German couple driving Route 66 too. They loved that we were taking naked photos and I actually shot one of my favorite images in my Route 66 book while they were watching. I didn’t have photo releases for them so you don’t see that stuff, but the episode is pretty funny. Plus you get to see what a breakfast shoe is (hint: it’s food) and you get to see Lincoln’s lucky nose. It’s all pretty exciting.

So yeah, check out the new episode of Road Strip (NSFW obviously!)  and hopefully I will be back soon with some new and exciting stuff for you guys to look at.

Last night I got to shoot Coco’s burlesque show “Coco’s Vanity Vixens” at Highline Ballroom for the Village Voice. I even shot the red carpet which I rarely do because photos of celebrities in front of advertisements that 15 other photographers have is not exactly exciting, but you gotta do the work sometimes…  The show itself was a well conceived burlesque performance featuring some decent dancers that didn’t get very naked. Maybe I am spoiled by crazy NYC burlesque where people get fully naked and pull egg rolls out of their vaginas but the show was pretty tame. Coco herself killed it and she did end up topless at the end which truthfully I was not expecting. She is pretty amazing to watch out there, especially set against a bunch of skinny girls. I have no idea how her butt exists but it is awesome.

I had fun at the show and my only real complaint was that it was horribly lit and made for awful photos. I mean it looked pretty good live but when you light people and the stage with the same color red it’s pretty impossible to photograph which is really all I care about. If I can’t take a photo of it, it might as well not exist.

Anyway, I have a ton of shit to do today and you guys have mediocre photos of mine to look at so let’s get it on!

NSFW Week finally comes to an end. It stretched over two weeks because of how busy I have been but you still got five straight naked lady updates so I feel like you should be psyched about that. The last update of NSFW Week is a good one: Arabelle Raphael.

I love Arabelle both as a human and a model. Last time I shot her was the first time I had met her and the next day she ended up driving to Vegas with me. She also has really amazing eyes, lips and um… you may have noticed the boobs… She is one of the easiest people to shoot and both times we have shot together the shoot was done in 20 minutes.

We took these photos at the tail end of my Route 66 road trip last summer at her place in LA. It seems like a good time to post these since I saw on Twitter last night that she is about to move back to the Bay Area so here is a goodbye to her LA apartment or something.

Somehow I didn’t meet Belle Noire when she came to my Get Your Kicks art show in LA. She was there but I didn’t end up meeting her until about a week ago when I went over to her apartment for a photo shoot. We had talked a bunch online and I was psyched to meet her especially when she answered the door in a bikini and Mickey Mouse ears.

I was killing time waiting for another model to get off work so shooting Belle was more like hanging out with her at her place than doing a real photo shoot. She smoked weed, read my tarot cards, showed me her apartment, ate candy and tried on outfit after outfit. I never suggested she wear different things, she just would disappear for a second and suddenly be wearing new clothes… apparently she does this all the time.

I had a ton of fun hanging out with Belle and she introduced me to her friend Adriana Chechick who I randomly ended up shooting right after I left Belle’s place. Adriana and I only shot 35mm stuff because it was too dark by the time I got there but it was really fun and next time we will be doing a real shoot. So thanks for the shoot and the introduction Belle! Let’s do it again ASAP!

Not Safe For Work Week has been slightly delayed by my exciting adventures in Memphis but it’s still going down. Yesterday I went to Graceland, Sun Records, several delicious eateries, watched the ducks march at the Peabody Hotel and saw a playoff basketball game. It was pretty epic. But that’s not important now. What is important is Angel Beau.

I have photographed Angel a bunch of times and I even photographed her sideshow burlesque troop. She is one of my favorite ladies and I hang out with her pretty much every time I am in Vegas. She was out of town when I was there the other weekend sadly but last summer I got to hang out with her and Coco Velvett when I took a quick detour off Route 66. I had been on the road for more than two weeks at that point and decided to drive a couple hours north to Vegas to relax in a nice hotel and chill by the pool for a couple days before getting back on 66 and continuing my road trip.

So I was on the west coast for 10 days and I am finally back and recovered but now I am immediately leaving town to go to one of my best friends wedding. The problem is that while I was on the west coast all I did was photograph cute girls and shot only the one event in Vegas. So now I am going to basically be super busy and not shooting new content for another week and it just doesn’t seem fair to just not post stuff. So instead I am going to use this week to post a bunch of old nude sets that need to see the light of day!

So along with the Catie Parker set from a few days ago and this App exclusive set today I am going to have three more updates of cute girls between now and when I get back next Monday. It’s been a long time since I have done a “Not Safe For Work Week” so get excited! I edited sets of Angel Beau and Arabelle Raphael that I shot last summer and I have a set of Belle Noire that I just photographed a few days ago. I feel like I will run on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday type of schedule but I don’t want to promise anything except for a bunch of fun pictures over the next week.

Today I have for you a new episode of my Wood Rocket web series Road Strip. It came out a week ago but I didn’t have time to do a proper update about it when I was out of town. It’s the second episode starring Sidney Scarlet and it features a ton of footage of her swimming around naked. Today is my last day in LA before I head back to NYC for a few days before leaving town again. I was hoping to take some more photos of my friend Catie Parker but unfortunately it didn’t work out. But fortunately I still have some old photos of her that you guys haven’t seen! Get excited.

Catie has been a fan of this site for a long time. She is a photographer and was emailing me questions back when she was still in high school. When I met her I had no idea she was the same girl who I had been giving photo advice to for years. She was actually surprised I remembered her emails from years earlier.

Hi kids! I am in LA and hopefully very busy so I might not be updating too much over the next 9 days, but I also might shoot some parties while I am out here in which case I will be updating. I mean I really don’t know but whatever the case I am sure I will shoot a bunch of naked ladies that you will eventually see photos of which is obviously important to your life.

Speaking of naked ladies, here are some pictures of the adorable Aria Rae who I met when she was a Burning Angel a long time ago but we never took any photos. A couple years later we did a photo shoot in my kitchen. I have a pretty big kitchen but I also don’t cook anything so it’s very often used as storage space but I was between roommates so my kitchen was relatively box free and shooting her in my kitchen seemed like a way better idea than finding an actual location for a shoot.

Anyway, I am gonna go do LA things like get stuck in traffic and talk about my screen play with someone I am pretending to be friends with. So go look at these photos. Many months ago I shot Rizzo Ford in a famous comic book shop in Chicago. I was asked not to mention the name of the store specifically but it was a pretty cool opportunity to shoot her there after hours. Any nerds in Chicago will be instantly familiar with the book wall that we used as a background. There are rare times when I wish I shot with studio lights and this is one of those occasions as the light was pretty god awful, but I wasn’t exactly going to NOT shoot her in a comic book store just because the light sucked.

I don’t have much more to say about the shoot but I am glad I finally got it up! Also Rizzo has a really rad butt and an even radder Steve Buscemi tattoo. Lastly, I should mention that while we shot these photos the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup and when I left the entire city turned into some sort of insane comic book universe where instead of Joker freeing everyone at Arkham Asylum he freed a bunch of drunk midwestern hockey bros. It was actually kinda great.
