A new episode of Road Strip came out last week! It’s one of the best ones yet and stars Ash Hollywood. It’s really fun and in it we go to the Grand Canyon. I had never been to the Grand Canyon and it was really foggy and rainy and I was worried it wouldn’t be amazing because it was so cloudy. Turns out a big hole in the ground is fucking amazing no matter what the weather is like. Seriously, it was as impressive as people say it is. Plus the rain allowed for a bunch of public nudity!

We didn’t have to walk far to get away from people, but as we shot we could hear people walking the trail a few feet from us. We also could see people across from us the whole time we shot. If they just looked over they could have easily seen us. It was a lot of fun. I even made Ash take photos of me to send my mom.

The video has a lot of other public nudity in it and some hotels that look like tee-pees and another giant hole and a bunch of other fun stuff, but the Grand Canyon is certainly the highlight and I have all the pictures for you to check out too! I already uploaded em to the DBB Girls app in high res, but if you are impoverished and can’t afford my app they are here too now.

I was hoping to post my new book Kickstarter today but apparently I am having issues convincing Amazon Payments that my LLC actually exists and now I have to find a fax machine to fax them tax documents because the largest e-commerce website in the world employees a technology that has been out of date for twenty years.

But my problems are your windfall as I now have to post some naked photos instead. It’s only fair right? The other day I shot this girl River Stark who has done very little nude modeling but was a delight to shoot. I was introduced to her by a friend several hours before she was leaving NYC to head back to her home in NOLA and she came over to my apartment around midnight before her red eye flight.

We didn’t have a place to shoot so we just took to the streets and shot a bunch of public topless stuff because #freethenipple and all of that… or just because you can be topless in public in NYC and neither of us really felt like getting arrested. We didn’t shoot very long so it’s a pretty small set but I think there are some nice photos in there anyway. River is a babe and she has amazing boobs so I think you will be psyched no matter what.

She has almost no web presence as a sexy model but you can go follow her on Instagram after creeping on all her photos. Oh, and the photos are available in high resolution on my Girls of Driven By Boredom app!

Lastly, I just wanted to apologize to the 20 or so girls waiting for their sets to go up… Rivers just lucked out because her set was super short and on the same roll with some photos I was already editing. I swear your photos will go up one day!

A new episode of Road Strip came out a few days ago! I have been so insanely busy working on my Vegas photo album and my new book, Dinner With Igor, that I totally forgot to do a post about the new video!

The new episode takes up a few days after our last episode with Charlotte Stokely. When I left Stokely I had a few days without any models booked, but I was lucky enough to run into my friend Heidi in Oklahoma City and she spent two days on the road with me. She didn’t get naked and didn’t want to be on Wood Rocket since it’s a porn site and all so I left her out. We did have some fun adventures and even rescued two runaway dogs that were wondering the highway! I left Heidi at a bus station in Amarillo and met up with a Annalee Belle at the Cadillac Ranch. I was only with her for an hour so I guess none of that footage made it in the web series. After that I spent a day on the road by myself before ending up in Albuquerque.

Ash Hollywood just happened to be in Las Vegas at the time and it was an insanely cheap flight to Albuquerque so I flew her there and scooped her up at the airport. We made our way west ultimately detouring to Las Vegas so I could drop her back off where she started but that took us a few days.

This first episode is mostly just Ash naked in the car, and then naked in a swimming pool with some fun driving shots and some not so fun music in between. It’s not the most exciting episode, but there is a ton of nudity! The next episode with Ash is one of the best of the series though, so look forward to that… it has donkeys!

I met Moni Love in Vegas (speaking of Vegas, go buy my book!) a couple of AVNs ago and we did a photo shoot at the Circus Circus hotel. I checked in there a day after the AVNs were over just so I could have a place to edit photos before I drove to LA the next morning. My friend had a 4am flight so she just wanted a place to store her bags so we split the $25 it costs to stay at the Circus Circus on a Sunday night.

Anyway, the point is that the photos were mediocre because we were shooting in an ugly hotel room at midnight so clearly we needed to shoot again. Fast forward to March and I was staying on my friend Mike‘s couch in Austin, TX for South By Southwest. Moni lives a couple hours away so she came down to check out the festival and to take some photos with me. We shot in Mike’s guest house/ garage area that is just covered in stuff and smelled like gasoline. They told me I could sleep in there but I opted to share the couch with two giant dogs instead. I figured getting no sleep on the couch was better than dying from fumes from motorcycle fuel.

So yeah, we shot, there are photos and you should look at them. You should also go give money to Moni when she is doing her web cam thing and she’s also a Suicide Girl hopeful so you could lurk her there. I also should point out that there are a bunch of spread leg shots on my app that you could do creepy things to yourself with if you had my app. You should have my app.

As you may know I am working on a series of food books. The first should be out sooner rather than later although it’s taking WAY longer than I expected. While putting together early edits one of the things I wanted was naked photos of a chef so I went to the internets to see if anyone knew any sexy chefs. My friend Courtney hit me up and while I knew of her as a photographer, I didn’t know that she also runs a side business selling “special” baked goods.

Courtney is really cool looking with her awesome gap tooth and she seems constantly positive and fun even if it makes you want to murder her when you are trying to get work done and/or sharing a house with her for a week during SXSW. I figured shooting her would be great and I was totally right.

So I went over to her place and she just cooked some sort of sugary chocolate Check Mix madness and I just took photos. Basically we just hung out for an hour and once in a while I would tell her to take off some more clothes and try to get her to laugh cause she looks awesome laughing. It was a lot of fun.

Obviously I am not going to link you to Courtney’s 420 friendly side business but if you ever get the chance to order something from  her I would recommend it.

My Route 66 road trip adventure happened over a year ago, but the video series Road Strip keeps on trucking… The last episode featuring Charlotte Stokely went up today. She’s the most entertaining human ever and she is unreasonably attractive so these are some of the best episodes, but don’t worry, we have some great ones with Ash Hollywood coming up next! I’ve seen nearly all the rest of the episodes and you guys should be excited.

To celebrate the last Stokely episode I put three Polaroids of her, signed by both of us, in my Etsy store. They were taken at the end of my Route 66 trip when I ended up in LA. I need to get some extra footage of Charlotte so I stopped by her place and shot some Polaroids of her on her couch because when you hang out with Stokely if you don’t take her photo a lot you are fucking up. I also updated

I also put a bunch of additional Polaroids in my Etsy store including shots of Theresa Manchester, Calico Lane, Sasha Pain and Ashlee Graham. Plus there are still Polaroids available from Skin Diamond, Ash Hollywood, Janice Griffith and even Alysha Nett. And, on top of that I added 8″x10″ prints of two of my favorite summer time photos since summer is about to tragically end soon.

Anyway, you should watch this Road Strip episode because it features an excessive scene of Charlotte lotioning herself in my rental car, a giant Solo cup AND the greatest thing on Route 66… The Catoosa Blue Whale!!! Seriously the whale is the fucking best.

Over the past I have no fucking clue how long I have been organizing every photo I have taken since I moved to NYC in 2006. The idea is to eventually have a big fucking folder of images with all the best stuff from the last 8 years and to have things organized so that I can pull images that I need. I also notice I have found a ton of stuff that didn’t stand out at the time, for example just today I found a photo of Adam Scott I took before I even knew who Adam Scott was.

Since I started this project I have done a great job of organizing my 35mm archives. I worked pretty much 10 hours a day on that for a couple weeks and got it done. The digital stuff is a lot harder to do because of the sheer volume of the images. On a slow month I might shoot 4000 photos but during an event like South By Southwest I might shoot twice that many in five days. Getting through stuff has been fun, but I can only do so much a day without going insane.

Just today I finished going through 2009 which is a pretty serious accomplishment because in early 2008 I had a shitty camera so could go through that stuff very quickly and by the end of 2010 I had started shooting a bit less nightlife. In 2009 however I was going out nearly every night and sometimes shooting two or three events a night. So despite having more than five years to go I think I am nearly halfway through my digital archives. The last couple years are pretty organized anyway…

So, in celebration of finishing 2009 I decided a Throwback Thursday post was in order. I have put up a pretty massive gallery (over 300 images!) from 2009 that includes a lot of my favorite shots from the year. It’s probably less than a third of the images I pulled, but it gives you a nice look at one of my best years photographically. It’s amazing to see how far I progressed. The early 2009 stuff is terrible while the late 2009 work is better than anything I am doing now. It’s inspired me to work harder when shooting nightlife and makes me miss how much fun I used to have.

In this gallery you will find mostly party photos although there is some random stuff thrown in including a few old school naked girls in bathroom photo shoots. There are a ton of photos from the party Playhouse at Cain that was a really great party both photographically and on a hot babes I made out with kinda level. Unfortunately they stopped paying me and still fucking owe me money. There are also a bunch of images in here of kinda celebrity stuff or blast from the past images that are noteworthy for whatever reason. They might not all be fantastic photographically but they are cool to look at.

I think the big winner of 2009 was Roxy Cottontail who through two parties that were some of the most fun times I had in ’09. Check out her birthday party that year and the Pepsi party with Diplo that she through that year. Both great events. Speaking of Diplo… I photographed him and Steve Aoki a weird amount of times in 2009. Ninjasonik comes up a lot too and I shot a couple of great shows by Monotonix and Spank Rock who both happened to play the best Siren Fest I ever went to. A lot of girls show up a bunch in 2009 Alex Magnetic, Jocelyn and Chloe are particularly muse-worthy. Since then Alex was my intern and Chloe is a super famous model so that all rules.

Honestly there is way too much in here to cover… tons from Webster Hall when Trash and Boys & Girls were both happening on the same night… a bunch of big events like SXSW, Sundance, AVN Awards… live bands… burlesque… zombie crawls… comedy… fashion… Driven By Boredom tattoos… the list goes on and on.

But lastly I will mention there are a lot of pictures of my good friend Ease DaMan who sadly died recently. I met him in 2009 and took so many photos of the guy that year. He was so fun and so photogenic, rarely had his shirt on and once I showed up to a  party and the cops had shut it down because a fight broke out and Ease fucking bit someone. We all miss you tons Ease. Rest in peace.

I have no idea how I am going to come up with selects since I love so many of these photos, so I am just gonna put some random shit below here. Just make sure you look at the full gallery… and yeah, these photos are significantly NSFW.

Way back in 2012 I photographed Dana DeArmond at our friend Chris’ amazing apartment. The dude collects musical instruments and modern furniture and his place was perfect for a photo shoot. Dana is one of my favorite models ever so clearly we killed it. In fact we took such fantastic photos that I didn’t want to post them. I wanted to see them in print. The set really had a retro Penthouse vibe so I pitched them to Penthouse right away. They weren’t really interested so I just sat on them a while. A few months later I started working for Hustler Magazine.

This set of Dana was pretty much the first thing I pitched to Hustler but they wanted to accompany it with an interview and for some reason that didn’t happen for a while. Nearly two years after we took the photos the images were finally published with an interview in the June 2014 issue of Hustler and is probably came out the best of anything I have shot for them.

I have shot Dana before but this by far my favorite thing we have done together and it’s honestly one of my favorite shoots of all time. The other day I was crawling through my photo archives as I have been doing semi constantly for the last few months and I was thinking about how much fun I used to have shooting nightlife. Right then I got a text from Prince Terrence and he offered me a job shooting his Wednesday night party on the rooftop of the new McCarren Hotel in Williamsburg. Normally the money wouldn’t have been enough to get me to leave the house, but I was feeling like I needed to start enjoying fun again so I took him up on the offer.

I headed to Sheltering Sky last night and pretty much immediately felt the dread of having to shoot party photos. I sort of meandered about taking a few shots here and there, but at some point one of the hosts put a Red Bull in my hand, I chugged it and got to work. By the end of the night I was having a blast and was bummed that the party only went to 2am.

At some point in the night Terry gave me a pretty inspiring lecture about how New York’s party scene sucks right now because we let it suck. It’s up to all the people throwing parties when things were fun to start doing it again. I sort of figured parties sucked recently because I got old and didn’t know what was going on, but Terry is out there every night still and he assured me parties are mediocre everywhere and we need to do a better job of making shit fun again. I am on my fourth cup of coffee right now and I think he has a point. Maybe I do want to start going out again and grinding like I give a shit, at least for a couple more years before I officially become the creepy old dude.

Anyway, the party ended up being a lot of fun and I met a bunch of cute girls and hung out with a bunch of cute girls I have known for ages too. I ran in to Amy Rose who is pretty much the most fun human ever who just sold a book and was out to celebrate with a friend who just sold a TV show. I saw one of my favorite people Olivia who I pretty much spent all summer last year hanging out with who is well on her way to becoming a super famous movie star and  fortunately for you guys I ran into the museworthy Lena Marquise who said goodbye to me by pulling up her skirt for a photo before walking out the door. So yeah, this gallery is NSFW.

But yeah, maybe I will be doing more party photos soon. I kinda miss it. At the very least I am sure I will be back at Sheltering Sky before long. I hope to see you guys out!
