The first post of the new year is about getting rid of a bunch of stuff from the old year. In what is becoming a tradition I am about to dump on you guys a bunch of photos that didn’t quite make it as a full set and then preview some upcoming new stuff. Did I mention all these photos that I’m talking about are nudes? Oh yeah, that’s a thing.

I am gonna go through these photos in the same order that they are in the gallery so you can try and figure out who’s who. First up is of my friend Heidi V. I actually have a full shoot with her that’s still coming, but I haven’t published it because I shot it with these cheap LED lights I bought and I just had one of them with me and they weren’t great. But Heidi is real cute so I am just gonna suck it up and post them at some point, but here’s some random stuff we shot after the shoot was over.

Next up are these pigeon photos that I cannot possibly explain. One of my friends asked me to shoot her topless in Times Square with a pigeon mask on and I wasn’t gonna say no. I should point out that these photos and the ones mentioned above have all been on Girls of Driven By Boredom for a minute now and if you paid for that site you would have seen them in HD by now.

Up next are some random photos from Exxxotica NJ this year of Pouty Kitty and Veda. I shot a ton of 35mm of them but gave up on digital real quickly when I realized the light was useless. Still there were a few photos worth lurking and there’s actually some more explicit shots from the shoot on Girls of DBB — hint hint.

The next group of photos is from my recent trip to LA. They are the photos that didn’t make it into any other sets. The first three are of this girl Lua Saturni. We got stuck in traffic and by the time we got to the place we were going to shoot it was too dark. I managed to get these three shots that look halfway decent if you lighten them in photoshop, but then I totally forgot to do that when I uploaded this gallery so enjoy these aggressively underexposed photos. Sorry. Next in the LA batch is a bunch of photos of Lil Brown Eyes. We just didn’t shoot a ton of stuff and there’s barely any nudity so I tossed them in here instead of doing a seperate post. And lastly in the LA group is a few photos of a girl who DMed me on Instagram at like 4am on my last night in LA and we just met up and shot in the middle of the night on the street. It was a pretty fun story even if we didn’t really get much.

You might have seen a couple of the photos of Syd Vicious that I shot at the Gathering of the Juggalos. I posted a few photos of her with those photos this year (and of course uploaded the full set to Girls of DBB) but now you get to see them all. She got naked in front of a bunch of people and rolled around in the grass. It was fun.

After that we have some non nude photos of Weed Slut that I shot for Playboy at the AVNs in Vegas last year. Not sure why they never ran them but they paid me and I’m not going to complain. I guess it’s still possible that they are going to publish them so I only uploaded a few of them to give you a taste for the set, but at least someone sees a few of theses photos.

Okay, from there we get to the previews of upcoming sets. Gonna go through these super quick because I am gonna publish them and talk about them in full later, but it’s a little taste for what’s coming. A lot of these I have posted on Twitter or whatever so you might have seen them already. 

The set I shot with this girl Sammy just needs to be color corrected but I am so lazy that it’s been like 10 months and I haven’t posted it. Same with the next shots of this girl Dina Michelle. Her and I got locked on a roof which was totally insane but we didn’t take many photos on the roof because we were freaking out about how to get down. The next three preview are of Sabby and a different Sammy and then Sabby and Sammy together with my friend Margot. I shot Sammy and Sabby back to back and they wanted to shoot together so I brought them to Margot’s place and we had a blonde, a brunette and a redhead all together and it was pretty fun. After that are photos of my friend Isabelle who I am going to be shooting again soon. And after that is a shoot I did with my friend Kirra and her friend who just randomly got topless in the middle of it. Kirra is one of my favorite models but this was the first time we ever did a full digital shoot. 

After that we have previews of the full shoots I did in LA with Alex DeLaFlour, my buddy Eddy, Nicki Hearts, Melina Mason’s return to being naked on the internet, and my first of hopefully many with a girl named Jade Baker. In between all that there are photos of Kasey Warner, Khloe Kapri and their friend Damia who isn’t a nude model or porn star or anything, she’s just real cute. Those three girls I shot a ton of content with including Damia and Khloe by themselves, all three of them together and then Kasey and Damia together which I have already uploaded exclusively to Girls of Driven By Boredom. So fucking sign up already.

Finally we have two shoots I did very recently. I shot some photos of Arabelle Raphael who I hadn’t shot in years and some photos of Stoya who I have been friends with for more than a decade and we’ve still really only done one proper shoot. The photos I shot of her the other day were just a test of my new camera, but more on that later… 

Okay that’s all I got. There are over 100 photos in this gallery so please enjoy the photos instead of complaining about the fact that a bunch of them are poorly lit or whatever. I just don’t have it in me to care when none of you care about anything but seeing nipples or whatever it is that keeps you coming back to this damn website.

A few months ago Kimberly Kane told me about her friend Ashley who was moving to New York. She was like “Ashley rules and she needs to meet new people in the city.” KK is one of my favorite humans of all time so I took her word for it and got some food with Ashley. She does in fact rule and a week or two later I went over to her place and we took some photos. 

This shoot is like the perfect example of my strengths and weaknesses as a photographer. On the strengths side, after meeting me once Ashley was comfortable enough to want to do a shoot with me. She had only posed nude once before and apparently I am only the second dude to ever see her naked which is a god damned honor. I think I made her comfortable while we were shooting and we got some photos that she was really psyched about.

On the negative side I don’t use lighting so shooting in a fairly dark room was challenging. A studio photographer would have set up a couple lights and wouldn’t have thought twice about it. But that’s where we get back to one of my strengths. I am pretty good at figuring out ways to make shoots work, be it using a TV to light a shoot or in this case a projector and a lamp.

It was a lot of fun to mess with the projector, using both the light it bounced off the wall and the projector directly. She also had some LED smart bulbs so we played with those a bit too as well as the little bit of natural light that was coming through the window. But on the negative side again, we were using very little light and I missed a bunch of shots because they were just slightly out of focus or the projector hit my lens creating less than compelling lens flares.

On the plus side again, I really like shooting in people’s spaces. It feels very real and natural and I like that. But on the negative I tend to do stuff like not notice that there’s something dark hanging on the wall directly behind dark hair and it’s distracting as fuck or just the little things in the background like plugs or trash cans that lead to a messy composition. 

Whatever the case, I ultimately really enjoy these photos and I hope you guys do too. Also Ashley and I have become friends so not only will you probably get more photos of her in the future but she is also becoming a fan of my hockey team and that is incredibly important.

Over the weekend I went to the 2018 Exxxotica NJ adult convention. It’s an event I have covered way too many times but it’s always fun to see everyone and I usually get some fun shots in a random hotel room after the convention is over. The last two years I was actually working for Exxxotica because my friend Steve Prue is their house photographer and he needed someone to cover a few things for him. This year they didn’t need me but my friend Veda offered me a ride and the hotels were super cheap so I decided to go even though I was just shooting for myself. 

On Friday I spent most of the time just saying hi to people and introducing Veda and her friend Kitty to people and really just hanging out. I took maybe 20 usable photos on the first day. On day two I knew I wanted to shoot more so I spent most of the day on my own shooting and ended up with a decent gallery even though it was decidedly lazy. I mostly just shot my friends and then some random sniping when I saw good fan/star interaction. So here I am once again apologizing for my photos even though I should probably pretend I am the shit since most people can’t tell good photography from bad photography anyway so it doesn’t really matter.

Outside of the actual convention I think I probably got some fun stuff. The first night we didn’t get into much but I did end up shooting Veda and Kitty in our hotel room. I mostly shot 35mm stuff, but I did shoot a handful of digital shots too. The light just sucked so I focused mostly on shooting with my flash on my 35mm point and shoot and some black and white as well. Since the digital stuff is pretty mediocre, but the girls are fun to look at, I decided I would just make that shoot an exclusive to Girls of Driven By Boredom, so if you want to see them naked in a hotel room go sign up now. 

The second night was fun. I was waiting for a friend to hit me up about shooting in her hotel room, but never heard back so I was ready to give up and head back to the city when Veda got a text from someone telling her we should come by the Inked Angels Awards after party. We figured we would check it out quickly and then head back to Brooklyn. When we got there the after party was over but we ended up hanging out with a bunch of drunk tattooed porn peoples, got a White Castle Crave Case (30 burgers!) and ended up partying in Johnny Gash’s hotel room. That’s a horrifying porn name, but we were pretty much wearing the same outfit so I appreciate him anyway. I hope a bunch of the 35mm stuff comes out because it was a weird fucking night. We probably drove back around 3am or something and missed out on day 3 of the convention because I had to watch football because my life is weird. None of this really matters, but I still have a bunch of convention photos for you to look at below.

A few months ago Scout was visiting NYC and she hit me up about taking some photos. I don’t really sleep at night and she had something to do until pretty late so I ended up getting to her hotel at like 2am or something. It was really late. She was staying at the Standard and all the rooms have an entire wall of windows so I was sort of hoping we could make it until sunrise so we could get some cool shots with the natural light.

When I got there the room was really poorly lit. My options were 1) no light 2) bright but ugly light 3) mood light. The mood lighting was the best option but it wasn’t really bright enough to shoot anything and it was too yellow. I had this idea to turn on the TV. I’ve used TV to light (or at least help light) shoots before and the Standard had this Standard TV station and they kept playing this black and white video over and over again which made for a pretty consistent cool light source. Between that and the big mirror I felt like we had something.

I don’t say this very often but I really like these photos. Scout is a great model and the TV lighting looks so cool. You can see us trying different things as we move through the set but we kinda nailed it from the beginning. We also shot a TON of 35mm stuff that I am sure is going to end up in some zine or book down in the future. I shot her in the bath and eating room service and all this stuff using my flash for the 35mm stuff and I was pretty happy with most of it. We never did make it until sunrise, but it was pretty much daytime by the time I got back to Brooklyn. 

This whole set was available yesterday in high resolution on Girls of Driven By Boredom. I also added a handful of photos from the end of this shoot where we were trying out different stuff and shots of her with the food and things like that. I got some new photos for you that are new in that they are from this calendar year. I met Evelyn in Vegas which seems to be the place I meet most people I shoot because of that whole AVN Awards thing. It sort of works like this, some cute lady on the internets will follow me and I will lurk them and find out they get naked on the internet and I follow them back and then a few months later I find out they are going to be in Vegas in January for AVN and then I hit them up or run into them at the hotel and say “hey let’s go take photos upstairs for 20 minutes” and then 10 months later you get to see the photos because I am so backed up with content that I never get around to posting anything in a timely matter.

So yeah, this is Evelyn Claire. She’s real photogenic. We shot these photos in her hotel room and we finished the shoot so fast I shot her again in her AVN dress so she’d have some nice photos in that so it’s really two shoots in one, okay, that’s not really true given it’s in the exact same place in the exact same room and she looks exactly the same in both shoots. And also there’s some photos of her in a leather jacket too so like is that three different shoots? No, of course not. So, it’s been decided. One shoot, three outfits, plenty of photos for you to look at.

I met Rose Ryan in Vegas when I was shooting Raya & Goldie back in January. They were all staying together in an apartment they rented for the week, but Rose wasn’t around when we started shooting. She showed up late and after talking to her for a bit, I realized I had actually taken her photo before when she was staying in Vegas with some other friends of mine. Super weird coincidence, but not really important right now.

The next day we did a super quick shoot on a roof of a parking deck but I only shot 35mm stuff so you guys haven’t seen any of that stuff unless you are up on my other social media. I know I posted some to Twitter & Instagram. I loved the photos we took and we talked about shooting again one day and fortunately I just happened to be in Ohio not too far from her over the summer. 

We didn’t have long to shoot, but I think we got some really nice stuff in the hotel room I was staying in. I shot some stuff of her outside on the balcony but we took it inside once she got naked. I just backlit her and we got some really pretty photos that I feel like you guys will enjoy.

Rose and I just work really well together because there aren’t a lot of models who would just show up with no make up on and just be down for whatever. I just love the rawness of everything we have shot together. It’s pretty much exactly how I want to shoot and I feel like it takes some bravery just to be human in a photo.

I finally finished organizing another year of my massive photo archives. Last night I went through all the 35mm as well and today I pulled a bunch of my favorite digital shots for this update. I have already started on 2018 as well so I am pretty damn close to organizing pretty much every photo I have ever taken, although my phone photography is a mess, but I don’t care about that. 

Anyway, looking at 2017  it’s pretty clear why I am so broke right now. I raised $22,000 on Kickstarter for my book Instaxxx and I thought that would be more than enough money to publish the book, and it was, the problem was that I spent months working on the book instead of working paying jobs and I didn’t really think about it because of all the money I had raised. That was stupid.

So, 2017 there are a ton of girl photos because I was working on a nude polaroid book, and then there are a ton of photos from events like AVN and Exxxotica where I was working those events pretty much just so I could be in places with a bunch of nude models so I could work on my book and then of course there are photos from the two  book release parties. So that accounts for like 80% of these photos and that is of course why my credit card bill is out of control. My bad, buy my book. 

There are of course a bunch of non naked people related images in here and I figured I should mention a few of the highlights. SXSW was cool. I was working for Playboy at the time and I did a couple of other jobs but it was pretty relaxing otherwise. I shot the Tisch Gala for NYU which also happened to be Alec Baldwin’s birthday so that was pretty great. I shot a few Trump related protests that were pretty boring photographically but there’s a few shots in here. There’s a few shots from my failed trip to the Galapagos and a few headshots for friends. I shot some tattoo stuff as always including the 20th anniversary of legal tattooing in NYC. I went to Florida and hung out with Mike Busey at his weird ass house. Oh and of course I shot the Brooklyn Zombie Crawl and my band played it as well and then we broke up which is a bummer because I really miss it. 

And then there were the juggalos…. My next book is going to be juggalos god dammit and I have now photographed the Gathering of the Juggalos 9 times but 2017 was the worst of em. I also went with my now girlfriend so I might have slacked off a little bit. Still it was cool because it was a totally different environment in Oklahoma City which will add some new scenes to my book. ICP also played in Brooklyn so I got a ton of ironic hipster juggalo photos which I feel like has to be good for something. And then finally we have the Juggalo March on Washington which I am not gonna even explain. Go read the post so I don’t spend 500 words repeating myself. 

Okay, that’s it. One step closer to organizing my life and one more giant update for you guys to waste some time clicking through. Time to start putting together my next book edit and finally building a damn portfolio site for the first time since 2008!

Hey this is Taurus. I met her on the Internets ages ago when she was a Burning Angel. That link is very NSFW but it used to give me money if you signed up via the link but I have no idea if it works anymore. I still get random affiliate checks from different adult sites I used to plug when I posted about their girls back in the day but it’s like $25 every 6 months so I never bother looking into where that money is coming from. Anyway, none of that matters. What was I talking about? Oh right. Taurus. 

We became friends on the Internet and then we finally met in real life in Vegas at the AVN week and I took some photos of her with our mutual friend in a parking garage. I was supposed to do a real shoot with her on a road trip when I went to Seattle but she had to cancel at the last minute and it wasn’t until AVN 2017 that we finally took some photos. These are the oldest photos I haven’t posted except for one set that is so old I may never post it and then some stuff I shot at the Gathering of the Juggalos that I am gonna save to promote my juggalo book with whenever that comes out. None of this is important but I didn’t post them because this terrible hotel art that’s in the background makes these photos look fucking cheesey as hell, but at least Taurus is hot so fuck it here they are. 

They have been on Girls of DBB for a minute in HD and there’s some bonus shots on there so like sign up for that already because I am broke as fuck right now and am in one of those fun depression periods where I am too unmotivated to actually figure out how to get some more work so I can pay off my increasing credit card debt. I uploaded these photos of Michelle to Girls of Driven By Boredom last week and then totally forgot to write up this post and give you guys the pictures too. Well here we are and it’s Monday night and you are finally getting an update. My bad.

So here are some photos of my friend Michelle. I actually met her on Tinder years ago and we hung out once and didn’t really talk again but we were friends on Instagram so when I was working on my book Instaxxx she hit me up and asked me if she could be in it. She’s not a model or anything and I was really looking for more people to be in the book that weren’t professional naked people so I was excited to have her in it. 

One night I hit her up about doing it and she told me she couldn’t because she had to pick her friend up for the airport and I made some dumb joke like “is she hot and does she want to be naked in a book?” and Michelle replied “actually she probably would be down” and later that night I showed up at Michelle’s apartment and we shot a bunch of photos of her and her friend and a few of them ended up in the book. (There are some digital outtakes on Girls of DBB somewhere too.) I think they were the first professional naked photos either of them had ever taken.

After that night Michelle and I stayed in contact and actually became pretty good friends and she told me that after we took photos she became way more open to doing naked photos and had shot with a mutual friend of ours and she wanted to do a proper shoot with me. I was down and we took a bunch of photos of her in her bedroom and now you get to look at them.

I should plug Girls of DBB one more time, because by the time Michelle got out of her underwear it was too dark in her room and so most of the fully nude photos were pretty bad so instead of giving them to you guys I figured I would just put them on Girls of DBB and make the people who want to see those pay for them so that I can afford to eat delivery food every day of my life and never learn to cook.

Yeah, now go look at some damn photos and remind me to take more photos of Michelle ASAP now that I have published these because I think the world needs more photos of her.
