If I had infinite money I would just travel around the world taking photos and hanging out at weird motels and roadside diners with naked models all the time. Unfortunately I am not so lucky, but fortunately I do have my friends over at Wood Rocket (NSFW!).

Wood Rocket is a porn site, but they do things differently and for some reason they enjoy my work even if it’s not particularly pornographic. Wood Rocket makes hilarious original porn parodies that you have probably have seen unless you don’t have the internet. They also make other weird not-so-pornographic videos and things like porn stars reading books and answering absurd questions and a bunch of other fun stuff you guys have probably seen because so much of what they do goes viral. Also everything on their site is free and hopefully they are the future of porn because I am a big fan of everything they do.

A few years ago when they launched I was going on my epic Route 66 road trip and they helped pay for the trip and in exchange I shot a web series for them called Road Strip. It was sadly not one of the things that went viral but it was a lot of fun to do and when I was going on my west coast road trip back in June I asked them if they wanted to do something with me again and they said yes.

Wood Rocket wanted to do more photo galleries and they asked me for five galleries from my road trip. I ended up shooting Lil Brown Eyes in LA, April O’Neil at the Madonna Inn, Lucy Everleigh in Portland, Lucy and two other babes in Seattle and lastly Lily LaBeau on the side of Mt. Rainer. Wood Rocket just posted the first of the galleries and they saved the best for first or something.

Shooting Lily on Mt. Rainier was so cool and it was thanks to Kimberly Kane who had the idea and drove us up there before getting us lost and forcing me to drive. We stopped off at a little overlook thing and escaped into the forest. We were only about 50 feet from the road but it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. I really love these photos and I am glad Wood Rocket posted them first because it’s a perfect introduction to the collaboration.

Now I uploaded a small gallery to Driven By Boredom just so I would have something to post, but you can see the entire shoot for free at Wood Rocket if you click here. I also wanted to give Girls of Driven By Boredom subscribers something so I uploaded the mini shoot Lily and I did the night before the trip to Mt. Rainier. She looks like a sexy school teacher or something and is posing in front of a painting of Mt. Rainier so it’s worth taking a look if you have Girls of DBB.

I should probably split this into two updates but I am not going to. I am going to give you way too many photos to look at and you should absolutely look at all of them because some of them are actually pretty good and the other ones at least are fairly interesting.

When we last left my West Coast Road trip I had abandoned April O’Neil in San Francisco and had driven to SFO airport and had picked up Lucy Everleigh. Over the next 9 days I would have to deal with Lucy’s love of ska and emo music, but also she was naked most of the time we were together so it’s hard to complain too much.

We immediately got the fuck out of San Francisco and started driving north as fast as possible Portland is 10 hours away and there was fun to be had there so we needed to get pretty close the first day. We made it within a couple hours of Portland with quick stops in Weed, CA and an actual store that sells weed on the Oregon/ CA border.

Lucy smokes a good bit and had to leave her weed at home but once you hit Oregon you can just walk into a store and buy it. Lucy stopped off and got whatever reasonable thing she got and I had a conversation with the person behind the counter about what would help me sleep. I think smoking is pretty boring but I suck at sleep and the few times in my life I have taken edibles they worked pretty well for sleep. I ended up with some tiny candy that the woman said would do the trick.

We got to a motel in the middle of nowhere and because it was after 10pm everything was closed. We ordered Domino’s because that was the only food option and Lucy smoked and I ate the candy. By the time the food showed up I was barely human and essentially was fucking helpless. Lucy and I have hung out a few times but it was probably not the best look to devolve into a baby the first time we spent more than a couple hours together. Lucy had a super early flight and went to bed right after dinner, but I woke her up to talk about the bread sticks. “What if bread were butter?” I asked. It was an interesting first night.

The next day we went to Portland and met up with my friend Chelsea who got a Driven By Boredom tattoo the day after we met because she is both insane and amazing. She took us to some sort of rose garden where we shot Lucy naked in public. Those photos are gonna be on Wood Rocket (NSFW) soon but I am including a few 35mm shots in this gallery. That night we met up with legendary alt model Apneatic (aka Amanda) who have known online for years but never met. Her and her boyfriend took us to a Tiki Bar where they were doing karaoke and our waiter was wearing a single fake tattoo sleeve. I wanted to murder them for it, but they made up for it the next day.

In the morning we met up with some cam girl friends of Lucy’s named Ivy Aura and Artemis Moon for brunch. I had made plans to shoot Amanda in the woods after brunch and Ivy and Artemis decided they wanted to come too. I shot all four girls in the woods and it was awesome and we didn’t get attacked by any wild animals. It was great.

Ivy and Artemis left and for some reason Amanda and her boyfriend thought it would be a good idea to go to an hourly rate hot tub which is an actual thing. Aside from it being insanely creepy it was also kinda amazing and I took some fun photos of Amanda and Lucy in the tub. Oh and then we drove to Seattle.

We got to Seattle pretty late and crashed with our mutual friend, cam girl Hunny Daniels. The next morning we went into the city and got lunch with my friend Steak who is amazing and runs the clothing brand Teenage. It was pride week and all the waiters were dressed as Rocky Horror characters and we got Frank N. Furter so clearly we got the best waiter.

After that Lucy, Hunny and I met up with my friend Romance and did a photo shoot in this mildly fancy hotel room we rented. Apparently hotels are cheap as fuck in the Seattle suburbs. We also got a bunch of mediocre seafood and had an awkward hotel party. Good times.

The next day Lucy and Hunny did their own thing and I went and met up with my favorite ex-girlfriend Kimberly Kane. She moved right outside of Seattle and has this new weird suburban life I had to check out and I got to play with her dog for two days which is pretty much the main reason I drove to Seattle in the first place.

The next day KK and I met up with Lily LaBeau who also lives in the Seattle area and we hiked (okay, mostly we just drove) Mt. Rainier. It was fucking beautiful and I almost didn’t mind that I didn’t get cell phone reception even though I complained the whole time. Lily and I did a fucking amazing shoot that will be coming to Wood Rocket soon too. Again I included a few 35mm outtakes from the shoot in this gallery but most of the good stuff I am saving for Wood Rocket.

The next morning I picked up Lucy and we made our journey back down the coast. We hit Portland and got matching bath tub tattoos because we couldn’t think of anything dumber. We met up with Ivy and Amanda’s boyfriend and he took us to some insane castle restaurant or something. Oh, and at some point on the trip we met up with another cam girl friend of Lucy’s named Hayli but I totally forgot about that until I just looked at all the photos.

Lucy and my last stop before we both flew out of San Francisco was a random hotel in the middle of fucking nowhere. I only mention it because it was next door to this little diner and we had to check in at the diner. The guy who checked us in was also the only cook and the only waiter and as far as we could tell the only employee of either establishment. It seemed like we were the only people on our floor of the hotel so we shot some naked photos in the hallway and of course did a bath tub photo shoot with Lucy’s bathtub tattoo.

Anyway, this whole trip was fucking amazing and I could write another 10,000 words about it but I am just gonna shut the fuck up and let you look at pictures. It was an awesome two weeks and was really great to get to spend so much time hanging out with April and Lucy and seeing old friends and meeting new ones and all that shit. I shot a bunch of great content for Wood Rocket and a ton of 35mm stuff for myself and I even got a couple digital shoots coming soon too.

So yeah I am actually back in Brooklyn and my epic 15 day road trip is over and I barely updated the Road Trip blog. Sorry about that but I probably averaged about 5 hours of sleep at night and the rest of my time was spent sleeping, eating and taking photos of naked babes. Not a lot of time (or quality wifi) to update stuff.

I just wanted to give you a quick wrap up of the last week and a few photos before we head back over to the main blog.

After dropping off April O’Neil in San Francisco I headed straight to SFO airport and picked up Lucy Everleigh. We headed up to Portland where we met up with my friend Chelsea and she helped us sneak some nudes in a oddly populated rose garden. It was raining and the middle of the day, I am not sure why it was so crowded but we managed a few shots.

The next day we met up with a couple of babes for breakfast and made plans to shoot Amanda Pemberton AKA Apneatic. Luckily for us the breakfast babes (Ivy Aura and Artemis Moon) wanted to come shoot with us and we all got naked in a forest and by we all I mean them. Later Lucy, Amana and Amanda’s boyfriend all went to an hourly rate hot tub because we are fucking creepy.

After that Lucy and I drove up to Seattle and got food with my friend Steak aka Rachael Finley who made this feminist juggalette documentary for Broadly that I have photos in (and am also in if you look carefully). We checked out Seattle for a bit but I didn’t see a single fish and then I drove to a hotel in the suburbs to shoot Lucy, Romance and our friend Hunny. We then ate a bunch of crabs and had a weird hotel party.

From there I went and hung out with my favorite human Kimberly Kane and one of my favorite people to shoot Lily LaBeau. I helped them shoot some custom video for someone which might technically finally make me a pornographer and then we went hiking (driving mostly) on Mt. Rainier. It was pretty rad and I took some lovely photos of Lily which aren’t in this update but you will probably get to see them soon.

I met up with Lucy again the next day and we drove back to Portland and got matching bath tub tattoos (we share a love for warm water and poor tattoo choices) and then got the fuck back to San Francisco where I dropped Lucy off before heading to meet up with my friend January Seraph for dinner and a movie like some sort of normal human who hadn’t just spent two weeks on the road. The Lobster was worth seeing.

I finally left the west coast and after a nightmarish travel experience I ended up in bed back in Brooklyn. The end. Enjoy a few photos of Lucy and assorted babes. Much more soon!

Okay now that we got the release of my new zine Public out of the way it’s time to go back to my recent trip to Vegas for the AVN Awards. I got hired by AVN Director of the Year Greg Lansky to shoot a bunch of awesome porn babes in clothing from his two websites Blacked.com and Tushy.com. Aside winning like 50% of the AVN Awards Greg also trusted me enough to do pretty much whatever I wanted as far as shooting his girls go so I just got to do me which was great.

That being said this massive gallery is a lot more flash heavy than I have been shooting recently but I thought it would sort of fit the aesthetic Blacked/Tushy was looking for. I also was sort of limited as far as locations being as I had to shoot everything in the Hard Rock Hotel. And I had very little time to shoot everyone because of how hectic everything is… but that being said you are about to get to see 200 photos of some of the raddest women in porn.

Let’s go through the gallery in order shall we?

• We start with adorable German porn babe Anny Aurora. I didn’t know who she was when I met her but as soon as I saw her I was  in love. This girl is so cute and sexy at the same time which is a dangerous combination. I shot her with male Blacked contract star Jason Brown who is a real good dude and won best Boy/Boy/Girl scene with my bff Carter Cruise.
• Next up is Abigail Mac who is instantly on my list of girls I need to photograph. I mean I did photograph her obviously but I need more time and a better location cause she is pretty special.
• We have my old pal Janice Griffith who I shot super late night in the hotel room she was sharing with April O’Neil. April isn’t a Blacked or Tushy girl but I love her the most so I had to get her in a couple shots. (Speaking of my love for April you need to get the special edition of Public so you can get a super limited print of her!)
• Now we have some really fun photos! I got to shoot Abella Danger and Keisha Grey having a pillow fight. I am quick to make girls pillow fight cause it’s both really corny and really awesome at the same time. Oh, and Abella and Keisha happen to have two of the best butts in this history of the universe so that’s something.
• Speaking of Abella I actually got to shoot her twice! She was the first porn star I shot in Vegas and for some reason the photos are out of order and she’s in the middle of the gallery. She wants me to tell you that she was bloated and she totally hates these photos but she is crazy and looks amazing so you need to enjoy them extra hard for her. Oh, and Abella won Best New Starlet at AVN so fuck yeah.
• Next I got to rip off some of my own photos when I shot Cassidy Klein at the vending and ice machines. Tiny closets make for good places to sneak away and the Coke branding is like super edgy right? I mean America and consumerism and obesity meets porn it’s like woah, so much controversy!
• Oh and I got to shoot Amarna Miller which was great because I have had a crush on her for a year she told me she was going to come to NYC and she didn’t and it was super sad but then I got to hang out with her in Vegas a lot and she totally let me grab her butt cause she is the best.
• Speaking of the best I finally got to shoot Cadence Lux who I have been trying to shoot for a minute now. She lives in Philly a lot of the time which is so damn close to me and I love her Twitter and she also has an amazing butt (you may have noticed a theme here). So hey Cadence you are great but could you come to NYC real quick so I can take photos of you not in a hotel room at 2am? Thanks.

Okay enough bullet points and enough of my meandering bullshit. Go look at these photos. There are a lot of them and honestly they aren’t that great photographically, BUT they are still pretty great because every girl in them is absurdly hot and I want to hit on all of them but I am a god damn professional so I will just keep my flirting to this way too long write up. Shay is one of my favorite models although she had to run off to some exotic location to have a tiny human with my buddy JM Darling. Luckily I have been hoarding these photos forever so now I still have what is actually my 6th Shay post which has got to be some sort of record. This one, like all the other Murphy’s Ranch sets is great!

I have another new zine coming out. Seriously… another one. I just keep cranking these things out cause I like flooding my living room with heavy boxes and packing peanuts. I think this one is really good and unlike my Arts zine this one has a bunch of nudity which I just need to accept is the only reason any of you ever come here…

“Public” is a public nudity zine in collaboration with my friends over at PopPorn. It’s 44 pages, 56 photos, and more boobs than I want to count right now, but I recommend you do that when you get your copy. At a mere $10 this thing is a god damn steal! And for $40 you can get a copy PLUS a 5″x7″ print of a really rad photo of April O’Neil and Shay Laren who are total fucking babes. Both the zine and the print will be signed by me and the print is numbered out of 25 as well.

Now, for the important thing! We are throwing a party!

The zine comes out February 10th and we are throwing a rager at Leftfield in the Lower East Side. The party starts at 9 and goes all night. Yeah, it’s on a fucking Wednesday because weekends are for assholes. The party is being thrown by myself, PopPorn and Boobs of Bushwick. Do you remember the last time I threw a party with Boobs of Bushwick? That shit was out of control.

We got Prince Terrence DJing, live naked photo shoots, topless girls selling books, a clothing optional dress code and fucking total madness all night. Plus you can come by a zine so that’s important. PopPorn is gonna be giving out free porn and I even have some Blacked.com hats to give away from my Vegas trip. Nothing puts an outfit together like a hat advertising your love for interracial porn!

The party is free, the zine is $10 and the booze will be priced at a cost dictated by what the market will bare given that we live in a capitalist system governed by the principals of the free market. Party forever.

Oh, and one more thing. Since I am promoting a public nude zine that means you will get a bunch of public nude photos over the next two weeks so even if you are a cheap fucking bastard and don’t live in NYC you can still enjoy the zine release anyway. Another year another AVN Awards… The so called “Oscars of porn” returned to the Hard Rock in Vegas and I was there to take pictures for the millionth time in a row. This year I was covering the awards for the Village Voice & LA Weekly as well as Vice and even AVN themselves. I had to take a massive amount of photos to take so that I could make all my clients happy. I shot stage shots for AVN, crowd shots for the Voice & LA Weekly and then I shot 35mm film for Vice. So far everyone seemed pretty happy except that my film isn’t ready for pick up until tomorrow.

I also was shooting the AVN Week for Greg Lansky who runs Blacked and Tushy. Greg won best director and between him, Blacked and Tushy they won 16 awards! Like, that is fucking insane. Plus Riley Reid won female performer of the year and Abella Danger won best new starlet, both of which probably would not have happened without Blacked and Tushy. So it was pretty awesome to see Greg and company clean up after hanging out with them all week. I felt real psyched for them despite not having anything to do with any of it.

Other stuff of note…

My exgirlfriend Kimberly Kane was elected into the porn Hall Of Fame! My first porn friend Joanna Angel was in her HOF class too (she also hosted the damn thing!) as were Dana DeArmond and Nikki Benz so it was pretty awesome to see a bunch of people I like a lot go in together. They showed one of my photos of KK on the big screen when they announced her too. My buddy Hannibal Buress came to Vegas that weekend so I got him a ticket to the awards. They set him right by Ron Jeremy which was kinda hilarious. And there was a super emotional moment when one of my favorite porn humans Carter Cruise handed off her best new starlet crown to Abella Danger who is one of her best friends. I was kinda tearing up a bit which I didn’t expect from a porn award show.

Also, Waka Flocka Flame performed which was kinda great. He put on one of the best shows I have ever seen at the Gathering of the Juggalos and while this wasn’t on that level it was great to see him do his thing with a bunch of porn girls and strippers running around. Plus he followed me on Twitter so I gotta give him some extra props to justify mentioning that he follows me on Twitter right? Did I mention he follows me on Twitter? You should follow me on Twitter too.

Lastly thanks to all the porn people, especially the hot ones, that came up to me out of nowhere to tell me that they were fans of my photography. The best part about photographing the porn scene is that it’s one of the only places people think I am a good photographer. I am a fairly mediocre photographer but in an industry filled with lazy uninspired creeps a slightly less lazy uninspired creep really shines. Thanks guys!

When I was in Vegas for the AVN Awards back in January James Deen spent most of the time talking about kittens and showing people kittens on his phone and asking people to see photos of kittens on their phones. I am super allergic to cats so I don’t really love kittens but I did rescue some kittens nearly exactly five years ago. I did an adorable photo shoot with them before finding them homes. I told James I would send him a print of Maven hanging out with a 40oz of Miller Highlife and when I made the print I ended up making like 10 of them because the internet loves cats and maybe the internet would give me money in exchange for cats.

Then of course I forgot about all of that and these kitty prints sat in a print drawer. Then this really fun thing happened where I remembered I owe the state of Delaware some money since my business is registered there because all businesses are registered there cause their taxes rule. Anyway, I figured this was as good of reason as any to sell you some cats.

I also had some prints of Annalee Belle left over from the fundraiser for my sold out Route 66 book “Get Your Kicks”. I decided I would put them up as well. I also lowered the price on prints of Veruca James in a swimming pool and my friend Tine when I stopped by Charlotte, NC a few years ago on a road trip. Plus I added the option to buy any of the prints in 16″x”20 although that will take a little longer because I would have to get them printed.

So yeah, there are now four $40 prints in my Etsy shop, plus a bunch of newish Polaroids and my books and zines and other fun stuff. There’s only one more copy of Fuck LA signed by April O’Neil so you might wanna get on that ASAP.

Long story short, give me some money so I can give it to Delaware. Thanks!

If you know me at all you would probably agree that I am not the most exuberant of humans. I tend to be monotonous and often pessimistic. I live a pretty great life and while I appreciate it, there are few things that really bring me joy. If you were to ask me what makes me the most happy in life I would immediately answer the Miami Dolphins winning a game, but that happens pretty rarely. My second answer would be when I open the first box of something I have created.

When I was 15 I started a magazine and a record label and assembling that first box of records was one of the greatest moments of my life. Since then I have made all manor of media and merch and it always brings me great pleasure. Recently I have produced four photo books/zines/albums and I brought them all to the LA Art Book Fair and it was the best thing to happen in ages despite spending the previous week photographing naked porn stars.

I have been to the NY Art Book Fair a bunch of times and it’s always great but thanks to PaperWork NYC this was the first time I have ever sold anything at an art book fair. I had copies of my new book Dinner With Igor, the zine Food Tattoos, my expensive Vegas photo album and the special Fuck LA zine and print I made just for the fair.

I actually sold a ton of stuff. I got back less than 10 Dinner With Igor’s and I had Dana DeArmond sign five of those. I got back about 15 of the 50 Fuck LA’s that I made and I had April O’Neil sign five of those. I even sold one of the Vegas albums even though I mostly brought them for display. I have sold more than 10 of them but they have all been to fans of my work, not just people who picked it up randomly at the book fair. I got a ton of Food Tattoos back but I brought a ton of them too but still I think I have less than 100 of the 300 I originally printed. All good news.

Aside from selling stuff I also bought a ton of stuff and met a few of my favorite artists. I bought Ed and Deanna Templeton’s out of print zine collection and I finally got to meet Ed. I ran into Tony Stamolis who I love as an artist and have been friends with via the internet for years. He loved Fuck LA so I traded him one for a print which actually came in the mail today. I met Tom Neely of Henry and Glenn Forever fame and got him to sign a copy of the first book. I also got to meet Bill Daniel an old punk rock photographer who I have bought several photos from over the years (including photos of Henry Rollins & Glenn Danzig oddly enough) and got a photo he shot of Glen E. Friedman who I also own a photo (and many books) by. I probably spent another $200 on top of that so I probably didn’t make quite as much money as I could have, but I have no complaints. Pretty epic weekend.

I took a handful of black and white photos and a few snapshots at the book fair and a few at the Love//War show. I figured they made sense together as a small 35mm gallery you guys might enjoy.
