When I was in LA back in April I got invited to hang at some fancy LA mansion by Carter Cruise. She was taking some photos for her and her roommate Natalie’s clothing brand LA After Dark and this cute girl she had just met, Sabrina Nichole, would be there and I should come by and take some photos too. I was of course down, but I was wondering whose place it was and it turned out to be my old nightlife photo buddy Kirill aka Kirill Was Here’s place. I hadn’t seen that dude in years because he got banned from Twitter and a bunch of Instagram accounts and clearly we aren’t shooting a lot of the same events anymore. But I went over there and their place was awesome and he was super hospitable and pretty much everyone there was either a photographer or a model and it was a great time. He also had a nugget ice machine that I purchased when I got home that has changed my life. 

Anyway, I met Sabrina over there and she was super down to take photos with me while the LA After Dark shoot was happening. She is real hot and is real easy to shoot and was in a bikini and a sombrero when I got there so very little effort was required on my part. I still didn’t take the most fantastic shots because it was super bright and I have made a life where I bring nothing to shoots and do everything myself and the idea of having someone hold some sort of light reflector during a shoot is beyond my ability to comprehend. But again, none of that matters because of the insanely hot person, amazing location and the incredibly fashionable Assholes Are Forever bikini. Sorry, I just felt like I needed to promo Kirill’s brand cause he let me shoot at his place. 

I should also mention that one of the people that work for Kirill happens to be another real hot human named Aly Eckmann. She jumped in at the end of the shoot and we took some photos of both of them together. Those photos are all on Girls of Driven Boredom, although I did include two of the shots in this gallery so you get the idea of what is over there if you happen to sign up. There’s also some 35mm stuff from the whole day up there too but you gotta go back a few galleries for that stuff.  And while I am plugging my pay sites there is a video of Sabrina up on my OnlyFans today as well as another one from back in April when I first shot her. I still have one more little BTS video to post and that’s got Aly too so be on the lookout for that. 

Lastly, unrelated to Sabrina, I just wanted to mention something. If you look at my site this is the first post in a month. While I am admittedly slacking with updates, I did post a shoot from two weeks ago, but I had to take it down. Someone apparently sent the photos of her to her family and friends and that sucks a lot. She was psyched to be modeling and making some extra cash and was doing shoots all the time and then someone did that and she took all her accounts down and this thing has been ruined for her. That is not the first time that this exact thing has happened and it’s so fucked up. Nude modeling and most other sex work is so needlessly stigmatized and it’s so upsetting to me that people can be made to feel bad about something that made them happy for some bullshit puritanical moral ideas. I took everything down for her because I always do when people ask, and hopefully other photographers did too, but she shouldn’t have to worry that a decision she made to take some is going to haunt her. Any other career you can try and then do something else with your life and no one will care, but with sex work it follows you, and it follows you for no fucking reason. Sorry, this shit just upsets me so much. Whenever I shoot with someone who hasn’t done nudes before I always tell them to imagine who is the person they would want least to see them in the world because they probably will because some garbage person will do exactly this. So fuck anyone who would send someone’s photos around to try and hurt them, and fuck anyone who judges someone just for having the courage to post their nudes on the internet. I know I don’t have that kinda bravery.

I have been back from my West Coast trip for a few days now and I am finally getting my shit together to bring you new content. On my 10 day trip I did 12 full shoots, plus I shot a dozen rolls of film which include some other mini shoots like my friend Selina who wanted me to take a photo of her topless in front of a Scientology building in LA which I was happy to oblige. It was a very productive trip, but the only problem with it was that of the 12 shoots I did, only two of them were with people I have never photographed before, on the plus side I got to photograph some of my favorite humans on this trip, but I was hoping to shoot a few more new people, but sadly those shoots didn’t work out. 

One of the shoots that did work out was Kittycamtime (AKA Fetish Kitten who we will now refer to as Kitten because that seems way easier than typing Kittycamtime over and over again), a cam girl I met at AVN last year. I actually met her in a very cool way. I was eating food with a friend when she walked by and I told the girl I was eating with that I thought Kitten looked really cool. Later they met at a party and she told Kitten that I thought she looked really cool and she immediately DMed me about shooting while we were in Vegas. We met briefly but the shoot didn’t happen, but she was planning on coming to NYC soon so we would do it in a couple of months, and then that whole Covid thing happened so we had to wait a year, but we finally made it happen.

I spent my first day in LA hanging out with Carter Cruise because she lives right by the airport, but my second shoot was at Kitten’s place. She was about to move out but for now she lives in a rad house with a pool and I am glad I got to take advantage of the very LA vibes of the place. She was super tired and once she got naked, super cold, so we didn’t shoot a ton, but I think we got some really nice stuff anyway. I think I took some more 35mm stuff of her inside too but honestly I don’t remember but I will find out soon. What I do remember is that she needed food so we went to a Trader Joe’s that happened to be right near a pet store so I got to go look at fish which as you probably know by now is my weird midlife crisis. It was very exciting. 

Okay, it’s time to plug all the things. While I was in LA I posted a BTS video from the shoot on my OnlyFans and just yesterday I posted a longer fairly explicit video of her on there as well. The video is also on Girls of DBB but it costs $10 there because their video upload system is broken and I can’t change the price so you should just sign up for OnlyFans because it’s only $5 a month. Okay that’s enough promotion. Next stop on my “I get to leave NYC finally” tour is Cleveland where I am going to the NFL Draft. Each NFL team is allowed 12 fans in their “Inner Circle” and I am one of them for some reason so look for me on TV when the Dolphins pick if you happen to watch that. 2020 was a fucking disaster and I am pretty sure we don’t need to go into all of that but I like to organize all my photos and pull selects every year so that I can make it easier to find stuff in the future and these throwback posts are a good way to go over some highlights and link to my favorite shoots of the year and 2020 is no exception. 

When I first picked up a camera when I was 15 for a photo class I didn’t really care about it so I only took photos for class and I think I got a C in it. A year later I took photo 2 and I started shooting punk shows and protests and got hooked on photography and it changed my life forever. I never really put down a camera after that… until 2020.

2020 was already slow for me. My roommate died at the end of November and December and most of January were spent just dealing with that shit until I went on my yearly AVN trip. I shot a lot of photos there but between the start of the pandemic last March up until the Black Lives Matter protests that rocked the country at the end of May I took almost no photos at all. I had this very weird mix of feelings. I felt this responsibility to my elderly neighbors and my community to stay inside, but I also felt this massive guilt for not being out in the streets documenting the end of the world as we knew it. For months I pretty much only left the house for essential stuff and I would bring my camera with me whenever I left the house but I didn’t shoot a lot. I tried to document the grafiti and the signage and capture some of the moment (see my zine Sign of the Times) but I didn’t do nearly enough to make me feel productive.

After George Floyd was murdered I felt like I had to hit the streets. This was too important not to be apart of and a video I captured of horrible police violence ended up going viral and being purchased by the NY Times, NY Post and Full Frontal With Samantha Bee. Ironically this awful moment ended up being the only paid work I did for most of 2020. I went to a bunch of protests over the summer and documented most of them, but I am embarrassed to admit that I eventually stopped going as the protests started getting smaller and smaller. I did hit the streets again a few months later when TV networks called the presidential race for Biden. It was one of the few highlights of a disastrous year.

I did do some shoots during the pandemic, including this socially distanced shoot, but the vast majority of the stuff I shot in 2020 happened on a less than two week trip in January to LA and Las Vegas when I went out to shoot the AVN Week madness. Heading home from Vegas from that trip was actually the last time I got on a plane after canceling trips to SXSW, the NFL Draft and two tattoo conventions I was supposed to shoot for Monster.

A year ago I shot Carmen when she visited NYC and Phoenix Marie literally the day before lockdown in NYC and over the summer when cases were low I did a day road trip with Nina and Kirra which ended up with some great shots (that you still haven’t seen all of), I did a weird late night shoot with Alex F and of course this shoot with the very flexible Amanda Whip. As far as the LA/Vegas stuff some highlights include the Aiden & Leda photos, my latest shoot with Carter and the super quick shoot I did with Alex Grey right before I came back to NYC forever. 

Right before the world ended I had booked a bunch of the work I mentioned earlier and I bought some bitcoin when it crashed right before the pandemic. I regretted it when I lost the jobs and it took me way too long to get unemployment, but I survived thanks to you guys. I started my OnlyFans and you guys bought my books and zines and had Girls of Driven By Boredom already going (I uploaded a NSFW “Best of” gallery including a bunch of shots not in this gallery). I had someone who supports my work just send me some cash and told me I could pay him in photos later. That shit meant so much to me. 

But things are looking up. That bitcoin I regretted buying is now worth more than 10 times what I paid for it. My unemployment is still going strong while my bills have pretty much decreased to just food, shelter and the cost to host this damn website. I paid off my credit card, got my first vaccine shot, I am finally headed back to LA and Vegas to shoot next month, and amazingly my NFT test run did really well. (I did manage to spent all that money on other people’s NFTs but I got some new stuff coming.) I still haven’t shot much in 2021, but my guess is the last 9 months of this year I am gonna be shooting a lot more than the first three  and I can’t fucking wait wait.

Thank you guys for everything and I hope that all of our 2021s are so much fucking better than 2020.

Over a year ago one of my favorite humans, Carter Cruise, was DJing a party in Vegas. It was not an AVN party but it was the same week as the AVNs so she was around and brought her friend Natalie. We all hung out a bunch and Natalie and I hit it off and we planned a shoot while we were all still in town and it was great. 

Since then, the world has obviously changed a ton and during the pandemic Natalie and Carter seemed to be living the best life because they have a pool and live with another hot friend and they started a clothing line together (which I will plug in a minute) and I just wish I was quarantining with them and just taking all the photos of them for the internets. 

Anyway, I planned on posting these photos a long time ago but there was that whole pandemic thing happening and Natalie decided if she had to find a new job when the world collapsed then maybe she didn’t want her nudes floating around out there, but good news is that her job is secure and presumably psyched about her nudes because she told me I could post them and I am 100% sure you guys are going to love that life decision because she is unreasonably pretty. (She also has an absolutely incredible laugh.)

Because of this delay, these photos have already been on Girls of DBB for months (she was cool with them being paywalled) but now you get to look at them for free… (at least some of them, I posted a ton of the 35mm photos on Girls of DBB too which you don’t get because I want your money).  And now that my plug is out of the way, it’s of course time to plug Carter and Natalie’s clothing line After Dark LA. I have already taken some photo of babes in them (check my Instagram) and I still have another shirt to shoot someone in soon and I will keep supporting their stuff because they are both amazing.

I can’t wait to visit Carter & Natalie soon cause I just got my first vaccine shot (thanks dangerously high blood pressure!) and as soon as this sweet Pfizer juice kicks in I am headed to LA so I can hang out in their pool and take their photo and probably some other stuff I can’t think about right now. It’s gonna be great. Honestly, just leaving Brooklyn would be a nice start, but I owe you guys some new photos.

Speaking of, next post on my website is gonna be the “Best” of 2020 post and then I only really have one nude shoot left and I am out of photos. I should probably get to fucking work huh? Soon!

With the end of the world at hand more people are turning to naked internet stuff to make a living and I have several friends that have started OnlyFans accounts to make a living (Mine is coming soon… like this week soon…). Fortunately for you guys that means that you get to see some old shoots I had never published before. Unfortunately for you guys it also means you need to spend some money to see them. I have recently uploaded three shoots that are exclusive to my paysite Girls of Driven By Boredom, for a couple of different reasons. 

First up we have the oldest shoot. I shot a bunch of 35mm photos of my friend Tine, aka Tine Dream, way back in 2011 on a road trip across country. Aside from my zine NOT SAFE and my book Instaxxx none of the NSFW stuff had ever been published. Fast forward to 2020 and Tine is not only doing her OnlyFans but she also wants to start doing actual adult work when this is all over. I, for one, am psyched about. 

Next up is my friend Eddy. I have shot her before, but only implied nude stuff. Again, the only actual topless stuff we had shot was in the “Mini” edition of Instaxxx. But we did a photo shoot shortly after the fires in California had kicked her out of her home in Malibu. She was sleeping on couches and we had this idea that we would do a shoot to raise money to help the wildfire recovery. Unfortunately we never got around to actually figuring out a good way to do that and since we are both broke right now the charity we are raising money for is ourselves. This shoot is exclusive to my site Girls of Driven By Boredom AND her OnlyFans. She is keeping her OF user name on the downlow though, so you need to follow her on Instagram and DM her to get that info. We shot these photos at her friend Michelle’s shop Spacedust in LA so check them out, they are selling some cool masks during this nightmare.

Lastly we have sort of the opposite situation with Natalie. I was introduced to her by my good friend Carter Cruise who is her roommate. Carter was DJing in Vegas and I went over to their hotel room and took some photos of Nat (and a few of Carter) during AVN Week. I feel like we really hit it off and took a ton of great stuff. I particularly loved the 35mm stuff we shot. Natalie asked me not to post any of the NSFW stuff publicly because she has no idea where she will be career wise after this whole pandemic thing is over and I totally get that. I can’t tell you how many times I have taken down photos because of someone’s work. Always happy to do it, I don’t ever want my photos to fuck up anyone’s life. So yeah, if you want to see all the photos of Natalie there is only one place to see them. But she is so fucking cool and photogenic so I hope I get to take a lot more photos of her when this is all over.

I have not been able to consume enough caffeine today to write this post, but I keep trying. My brain is just not functioning because I haven’t had a good night of sleep in a week. Hopefully these photos will speak for themselves, but I know this is a post people look forward to every year so I gotta get this published. Instead of writing something thoughtful I am just gonna go through the gallery in order and tell you who everyone is and give you whatever info I think you might need and hopefully my 5th cup of coffee will kick in by the time I’m done. Let’s go.

First up is Keira Croft. I ended up going down to AVN a day earlier than planned and didn’t have a hotel booked. Coincidentally she had an extra bed in her room and she heroically let me crash. We of course had to shoot as well even though the light was pretty gross in her room. I also shot her getting ready in the morning and shooting porn girls in real life situations is honestly why I come to Vegas every year. Oh and I took some photos of her for another project as well, but keeping that a secret for now. 

Next up is my buddy April O’Neil. She’s one of my favorite people to shoot and there is a whole gallery of this shoot coming soon, but for now you just get a little teaser. We shot on the balcony of her hotel which had a great view nut I am pretty sure the neighbors had an even better view.

Next is Kyaa. I met her in the casino at like 3am and she pretty much demanded that I take her number and take her photo. I wasn’t going to say no. She is very intimidating. Also coincidentally she’s super cool looking and we took some really fun photos in the courtyard of my hotel so it worked out very well. 

The second night I was in Vegas I ran into Aiden Ashley. We had just done a really amazing shoot in LA, probably the best thing I have shot in months, and she introduced me to her friend Lucid. She was like “you should shoot with Igor” and Lucid said “okay”, and so I said “let’s get you guys naked in the parking garage right now” and so that’s what we did. Aiden got stuck in a trash can and they took a bunch of extra NSFW photos you can only see on the Girls of Driven By Boredom.

Later that same night, at like 4am, my friend Claudia Cho texted me to see what was going on. I didn’t even know she was in town until I saw on the internets that she was in Vegas. She came over to my hotel room and we took like 15 photos in 8 minutes. I’m just glad I got to take some photos using the mirrors in my room.

The next day I went to take photos of a girl named Natalie that Carter Cruise introduced me too. I had eaten dinner with them sometime between the parking garage photos and the Claudia shots and we made plans for the morning. Natalie is a designer and not a naked person, she was just hanging with Carter but was down to take some photos. We shot a ton and it’s going to be a full set later so this is just a little preview. Super glad I met her and I hope to shoot her again soon!

Later that day I shot Siri who is someone I wanted to photograph a long time ago, but she briefly retired from the industry… for 5 years. Well she is back and had a pretty nice room at the Hard Rock so we shot her on the bed. This is another full set so enjoy the preview and I will be back eventually with all her photos. 

The next day was the actual AVN Awards and I was trying to find someone to let me photograph them getting ready. I had just met Paige Owens and she was down but then realized she had fucked up her booking and had to stay with a friend that night. I went with her to drop off her bags and we ran into Gia DiMarco who is another person I had wanted to shoot and so we brought her with us back to my hotel to shoot. On the way I took two photos of Nadia White flashing me in her onsie and then did a quick shoot with Gia and Paige which is a really weird thing to write given that my ex-girlfriend is named Gia Paige. Anyway, we only had like 15 min before Gia had to leave and I think we got some really nice stuff considering. Paige stuck around and did her hair naked and so I took photos of that because I am a goddamn professional. 

After that I had a bunch of shoots cancel and the awards were over and I was real grumpy about being in town for two extra days without shooting. The Wood Rocket Brunch on Sunday was fun and I hung out with those guys on Monday too, but I had 3 rolls of film to finish before I got on a plane and no one to shoot. Fortunately Aiden Ashley had introduced me to another friend this week, and that was Alex Grey. I had wanted to take Alex’s photo forever but I had only once met her and it was very briefly. I had tried taking her photo all week but she was very busy with AVN stuff. On Monday she wanted to shoot but her car got a flat tire and it was taking her all day to deal with it. I figured she was just blowing me off but she finally texted me and I met up with her at the actual tire shop. Her friend was with her and we all got in his pick up truck and drove about 100 yards from the tire shop into a gravel pit and did a photoshoot in 10 minutes as the sun went down. I finished off all three rolls and we took some great photos considering the time. She also let me shoot her without make up and her hair totally crazy which I very much appreciated. So glad we shot and I can’t wait to do it again. We actually got so many photos between film and digital that I am gonna make this a separate set as well. So enjoy the preview and look forward to that.

Apparently it’s Thursday so I guess this can be a “Throwback Thursday” post. Whatever the case it’s another addition of my “Best of” posts. I have spent way too much time of my life organizing every photo I’ve ever taken and I done with another yet. 2015 is in the books. Fortunately I’ve also pretty much finished 2016 too. I am getting dangerously closed to being organized.

2015 was a terrible year for me and it featured the single worst day of my life where I got served with a lawsuit on the way into my good friend DJ Jess’ funeral. On the way home I got into a car accident. A few weeks later I broke up with my girlfriend and got into a second car accident. Months of depression followed and honestly my photography suffered from it as well. My back has been fucked up from the (first) car accident as well. When I was going through some of these galleries I just kept thinking about how much worse they were than stuff I shot previously. It’s really weird how my personal state of being could impact my work so drastically.

That being said there are still some highlights. I am currently figuring out how I am going to make it to another Gathering of the Juggalos, and when going through that stuff from 2015 I realized it might have been some of my best ever juggalo coverage. I shot a record cover for one of my favorite bands. I shot some great portraits at SXSW. I had some work in an art show in LA. I got my head shaved my a 90’s teen icon at an Empire Records party. I covered some quality nerd stuff like NY Comic Con and a Bronies watch party. I shot my friend Eaddy’s band Ho99o9 a bunch of times. I shot some fun stuff for Sailor Jerry as always and the Fool’s Gold Day Off is always fun. Oh, and I had a book release party for my second book Dinner With Igor.

On the naked lady side I shot some decent stuff over the year. I really liked the shoot I did of Ava Dalush at AVN and these photos I took of Chanel Preston. I met Carter Cruise in 2015 and we did two photo shoots in LA and then she came to NYC and bought us matching NSFW tattoos for my birthday. I also met my friend January Seraph in 2015. She reached out to me when she read about my depression and after we shot together we became really close friends. Unfortunately we lost her to depression last year.  I shot my friend Lucy Everleigh for the first time in 2016 (it was her first ever shoot!) . I don’t love the photos we shot but she’s a good friend of mine now so that rules. And lastly I should mention the shoot I did with my friend Erica. It wasn’t naked but she is one of my favorite humans and I’ve known her forever and I love the photos we made. Plus she just had a baby a few days ago which is adorable. 

I also found a few unpublished shoots from 2015. I found a second shoot I did with Ava Dalush that I already edited and posted on Girls of Driven By Boredom over two years ago, but apparently forgot to post on here. I also found a really fun shoot I did with Jenna J. Ross (that I just posted on Girls of DBB today) that I have no idea how I lost. And of course I found the Kaya & Vonka shoot I posted in my last update. I am gonna try and get the Ava & Jenna shoots up this week and try and get rid of the old photos sets ASAP. I found a few when going through 2016 as well so I might make a whole week of it. 

There are a lot more photos in here this gallery but I don’t wanna keep typing this. Lot’s of nudity and madness and famous people and I need to eat. It’s a massive gallery of nearly 300 photos and a ton of links to keep you busy. Speaking of bundles. I made a few discount bundles recently and I think there are only two left. The Driven By Boredom bundle comes with a DBB snapback, a shot glass and a ton of other stuff. And lastly this seems like the perfect time to break out my Christmas card again. I sent out about 200 last year but I printed 500 so there’s a ton of them left so if anyone wants one you can get one mailed to you for just two American dollars. It seems worth it just to fuck with your mail man.

Last night I threw the second and last Instaxxx release party. The NYC one was fun, the LA version was fucking insane. I am always stressed out when I throw parties and there was plenty of shit to get stressed out over but the party was actually really good and I would have had a ton of fun if I wasn’t the one throwing it.

Superchief Gallery LA is such a great space in DTLA and I am really glad I threw the party there. That being said they don’t really have a DJ set up and apparently I either borrowed the wrong stuff or not enough stuff so Carter Cruise had to DJ off iTunes. It was pretty hilarious but she kinda killed it anyway. When her set was over she was laughing about how she only had the music on her Itunes cloud and so she ran out of music “at some point I just played an A-Trak mix for 2o minutes.”  Sorry Carter!

By the time Kate Mo$$ played it was already after 10 and the party was supposed to end at 10. It did not. Kate Mo$$ played a short insane set that was pretty perfect for the party. I unfortunately missed half of it cause I was doing shit but I am really glad they came out. It was total madness.

Joseline Kelly played after that and then I took photo of her in a bathroom cause the bathrooms at Superchief are grimy and cool looking so clearly I had to shoot some photos in there.

Speaking of girls in bathrooms, huge thanks to Charlotte Sartre and Riley Nixon for hanging out topless on a couch all night. Not sure the photo booth worked exactly how we planned it but it made the party a lot more fun.
