I am headed to LA in two weeks and I plan on taking a massive amount of naked photos while I am there and I realized I have a TON of old naked content that hasn’t seen the light of day. So this whole party starts with a Friday night dump of a ton of the stuff I shot while I was in Vegas in January for the AVN Awards. The crazy thing is that most of this gallery (plus a bunch more dirtier stuff) has been on Girls Of Driven By Boredom SINCE January but I am just now giving you guys this stuff for free. Starting on Sunday I will be releasing a new girl gallery to Girls of DBB one day before it shows up on this site. Now let’s get to these photos. To star with I shot my old pal (and two different prostitutes on Game of Thrones!) Samantha Bentley. We were just fucking around with my camera in her hotel room when Dahlia Sky came up to the room so I shot the two of them together. The photos were mostly just for fun but it made for a great photo of me… In the mix are some photos of Adriana Chechik doing weird shit like she do, Lily LaBeau looking like a fashion model like she do, and some shots of Burning Angels Taurus and Veronica Rose.

Continuing with the Vegas madness I shot BBW babe Marilyn Mayson in the back of my rental car and the insane Ashlee Graham on a total strangers shoulders. I was racing the sun as I made it to British porn star Jasmine Jae’s hotel room and I didn’t think I was going to make it but I realized if I shot her between her curtains in the window there was just enough light to shoot a mini set of her. After that I grabbed British porn girls Amarna Miller and Silvia Rubi and took them up to the roof with a cam girl I met named Jane and a random lady she met at a swingers party the night before. Jane’s friend was just there to make sure Jane didn’t get murdered but she ended up getting naked too!

Let’s see what else… I shot Lucy Everleigh and Anya Amsel on the roof too. I had been trying to shoot Lucy FOREVER and finally got to meet her. Apparently she lives in wherever she lives and just cams and never actually does photoshoot. I took her photo shoot virginity and you will get to see a full set of her (in a bathtub) next week! By the way Anya Amsel is such a babe and one of these days I am going to hopefully do a shoot with her. I didn’t know who she was until Lucy introduced us but now I am kinda in love.

Lastly I did a shoot with a reporter named Rachel Rabbit White who was writing about AVN for Thought Catalog and decided getting naked in a bathroom would be good for the story. I highly supported her decision.

I am finally back from the West Coast. After one of the worst travel experiences of my life I arrived back in NYC to 16 degree weather and find that the car I was borrowing was completely covered in ice! I am still glad to be back though because warm weather is for cowards and California is full of beautiful flaky people who go to bed really early.

I already posted my galleries from the 2015 AVN Awards and the 2015 Adult Entertainment Expo over on my Road Trip blog, but I wanted to get these up on the main page and perhaps give you slightly more info on the whole thing. And I mean slightly because I need to go dig out this fucking car right now.

The Adult Entertainment Expo is the trade show that happens around the same time as the AVN Awards at the Hard Rock in Vegas. It features lots of naked ladies standing around getting hugged by dudes who waited in long lines to hug naked ladies. It’s always a weird thing to watch but I sort of love taking photos of people obsessed with anything. Fans are the best. Also it’s sort of like a family reunion and it’s nice to see all the people I only see once or twice a year.

The AVN Awards are the porn Oscars and they are always a good photo op. My back was fucked up so I didn’t quite nail my coverage as hard as usual but I still took a lot of damn photos. Rae Sremmurd played and my buddy Tommy Pistol was one of the hosts so that was all great.

Anikka Albrite won best female performer of the year which makes I think the 4th year in a row that the award has gone to a Spiegler Girl. Mark Spiegler is my favorite agent in porn and I tend to get along with his girls better than most people in the industry so I am always glad when his ladies win stuff. Anikka once watched me eat a giant hamburger in one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to in my life so we are pretty much bonded for life. Her dude Mick Blue won male performer of the year so that was really cute.

Carter Cruise won best new starlet and she is also a Spiegler Girl. I hadn’t heard of her before so I googled her and saw that she followed me on Twitter so I hit her up and we went out on my last night in LA and we took a ton of fun pictures that you will get to see one day. She rules so congrats to her too.

Other friends that won stuff included Adriana Chechik, Samantha Bentley, Bonnie Rotten and some other people I haven’t photographed naked… Okay, I have some photos of James Deen naked somewhere… but none of Lee Roy Meyers.

Once again I headed to Vegas to photograph the Adult Video News Awards aka the porn Oscars. Last year I was actually nominated for Best Photography Website but that wasn’t a category this year so I was shit out of luck. The Carrie porn parody I wrote was up for best comedy porn parody but it wasn’t marketed as a Carrie parody for some reason so I pretty much knew it had no chance. Fortunately some friends of mine picked up some big awards, Tommy Pistol won best actor for his roll in my friend Doug Sakmann’s film Evil Head. Tommy was probably the first male porn star I met and it was awesome to see him take home the award. They have been working on Evil Head for like 6 years so it was awesome to see it get recognized. The home girl Bonnie Rotten won female performer of the year which is pretty much the biggest award of the night. Bonnie is one of the raddest people in the business and I was so happy she won after less than two years in the business.

The AVN Week has become sort of special to me in that I met Kimberly Kane in Vegas during the awards years ago, then two years we started hanging out for the first time. Last year we broke up about two months before the awards but sort of got back together in Vegas. This year we went together and despite both of our hatred for Vegas it was nice to spend the whole week with her. I doubt we will ever officially get back together since we live 3000 miles away from each other and that didn’t work the first time, but I love that girl and I am glad to have any time with her I can get.

The Awards themselves have become more streamlined and a bit more organized the last two years but when the red carpets started the Joint wasn’t fully set up yet so all the porn stars had to hang out upstairs in the VIP lounges before they could get to their seats. A few people seemed annoyed but it was perfect for me to get a lot of photos and pull a few girls away to do some NSFW photos without too many security guards around. The Awards went smoothly with only a few bumps like a brawl in the front two rows. Also, Machine Gun Kelly performed twice and during his first performance Selena Rose got on stage and stole a stethoscope from a dwarf and showed everyone her pussy.  So yeah, that happened. Good times.

The 30th annual Adult Video News Awards were held Saturday night at the Joint in the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas, NV. I have been covering the event for several years and I think this year was the smoothest and well done of the ones I have attended. The awards in the past have been a little tedious but I had a great time at this one. My ex-girlfriend and still good friend Kimberly Kane presented all three performer of the year awards and she killed it. The homie James Deen won performer of the year again and a bunch other people I know and don’t hate won some things. Burning Angel won some shit too. Driven By Boredom was nominated for best photography website but we sadly didn’t win, which probably makes sense because the site isn’t really a porn site despite what my parents think.

Tyga played Rack City and a bunch of other songs and the winner of the transexual performer of the year tried to blow him on stage and their was some nudity and weirdness and good times. I took a ton of photos and you should look at them. I would probably talk more about the awards but Vegas was fucking insane and exhausting and I have to drive back to LA now even though I have no idea where I am going to stay. Huzzah. The Adult Video News Awards happens every year in Las Vegas and it honors the great performances in the adult entertainment world.  The world hold its collective breath waiting to find out who won the best double penetration scene. Okay maybe it’s not quite as main stream as the Oscars but I know a lot of people who care probably way too much about these awards and a bunch of people cry every year win or lose.

The show was hosted by Dave Attell with Bree Olson and Sunny Leone and it included an acrobatic show from Belladonna and a hip hop performance from Too $hort that was the highlight of the show. The awards were not without amazing technical difficulties that ended up making the whole thing pretty hilarious.  I had a great time plus the three major female awards were won by girls I have photographed.  My homegirl Bobbi Starr won the big prize, Female Performer of the Year.  EDM fan and twitter assassin Jessie Andrews took home Best Actress and a girl I just shot last week named Brooklyn Lee took home Best New Starlet. I was pretty happy for them all. Jessie’s movie Portrait of a Call Girl won a bunch of awards including best picture as well.

I was shooting the awards for all the Village Voice Media papers including the Voice, LA Weekly, SF Weekly, Miami New Times, Houston Press, Denver West World and a bunch of others… so you might see these shots all over the damn place. Plus I was shooing for AVN as well so they gave me full access to run around and shoot whatever I want so I got some pretty awesome shots of everyone before, during and after the show.

So it’s time to start getting Vegas pictures up. I hope you are excited. I have four galleries and I plan on posting one a day although if I shoot more stuff tonight or tomorrow I might double up and I might always fuck up and not update at all.  That being said, the tentative schedule is AVN Awards pictures today, pictures from CES tomorrow, AEE on Wednesday and finally saving the insane Burning Angel party pictures for last. They are pretty epic, you don’t want to miss that. So let’s get it on…

The AVN Awards for those not in the know are the Adult Video News Awards and they are pretty much the porn oscars. I shot the red carpet last year and honestly it was more trouble than it was worth so this year I tried to change things up. I made sure I got photo access in the actual awards and then I decided to show up late for the red carpet and just catch the very end of it. The carpet was scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 so I figured if I showed up at 7:30 I would be good. The problem is that the press check in was at 5 and when I got to the Palms Casino at 7:30 I had no idea where to go and there were fans everywhere watching the red carpet and I couldn’t even get near it. The Jets/ Colts game was on and I hate the Jets so I watched the end of it screaming in agony when they kicked a last second field goal to win. At this point it was 8pm and I figured I should probably get on the red carpet, but I still didn’t know where to go. I followed the fans up stream of the red carpet until I got to some security and they let me pass even though I was at the wrong end of the red carpet. They told me to walk down to the other end but I realized that by the end of the red carpet I could be away from all the photographers, the last photo they take before they enter the casino and I wouldn’t have to shoot on a step and repeat wall. It worked out perfectly. I also happened to be the only photographer around when Andy Dick got kicked out…

Meanwhile my friend Tom had come down from LA to hang out with me but couldn’t get into the awards so he was just going to play penny slots until I got out of the awards.  He was up $30 when some random guy came up to him and handed him a ticket to the awards.  The tickets cost $300 each and there were hundreds of fans trying to get in, yet somehow he was just handed a ticket.  He texted me that he was inside so I made my way into the show and actually ended up walking up the red carpet myself which was pretty funny.  I shot a bunch of people in the loby and in the auditorium itself. I ran into Justin from Semi Precious Weapons who was with Pauly Shore of all people. That was pretty great. After that I made my way to my seat and I found that there was an empty space next to me so I texted Tom to see if he wanted to come sit with me.  Turns out the ticket he got was a 7th row ticket in the very middle of the stage. He was sitting with all the big porn stars and stuff. It was pretty funny.

The awards themselves were pretty entertaining for a while but there are so many awards that it drags on a bit so I shot a bunch of photos at the bar throughout the night. Lisa Lampanelli was the host and was pretty funny. The highlight was probably when she called Michelle Bombshell a nazi skank without realizing that Michelle Bombshell was actually at the awards. I am not sure if you care who won what or not… I know I don’t but I do want to congratulate a couple of my friends on their big wins. My homie Andy San Dimas won the best actress award for her roll in the porn version of Glee and my friend Joanna Angel won for best porn star website. So I posted the link to these pictures on the Village Voice a while ago so I didn’t feel a real need to get them up right away.  I have 800 photos that I took at the Semi Precious Weapons video shoot last night and I don’t have the energy to edit them right now so I am just going to throw up these pictures and call it a day.

The Adult Video News awards are basically the porn Oscars. They are held every year during January and happen at the same time as the Adult Entertainment Expo.  They tend to feature a shit load of porn stars and some minor celebs.  This year Dave Attell hosted and I got a shots of Dave Navarro and Margaret Cho.  I think Flavor Flav was there but I didn’t see him.  Anyway, the red carpet step and repeat stuff is pretty boring, both to the viewer and to the photographer, but I had a reserved spot for me and had a good time yelling at people to look at my camera.  The lone of porn stars was never ending and I took nearly 1000 photos, which was a huge mistake because I didn’t bring a back up battery.  My battery lasts over 800 shots, so I rarely bring out my back up.  So during the end of the Red Carpet my battery died and it was amazingly embarrassing. I have never really had anything like that happen to me before especially not while I was standing next to Getty and Wire Image guys. I spent the rest of the carpet trying to convince porn stars to do funny shit for the entertainment of my fellow photogs. “Show us your teeth!”  It was a good time.
