Now that we got all of the lost 2019 photos out of the way we have moved back into 2020. I shot a bunch of stuff in January in Vegas and LA before the world ended and while I have posted a bunch of that in the past I still got a few more galleries left starting with Siri Dahl. I knew all about Siri years ago and we even talked about working on a big project together but we never actually met. She eventually retired from being a professional naked person and I didn’t hear from her in years.

Fast forward to AVN 2020 when she came out of retirement and started shooting again. She had been doing a podcast about her “Life After Adult” and then suddenly she was doing adult all over again. She even gave herself a new stage last name which is probably a lot easier to google since when she started in the industry Apple’s Siri didn’t exist yet.

I walking around the convention center with my pal Sovereign Syre during the Adult Expo and Sov finally introduced me to Siri in real life. She put in a good word and later that day I was up in Siri’s hotel room taking photos. Siri and I got along real well because she is awesome and after the AVN Awards ran into her and I ended up in an Uber with her and Michael Vegas and Siouxsie Q and Ella Nova to a very weird party at a mansion in the middle of nowhere and I’m not sure if it was a wild night but it was a very strange one and I think it was daylight when I got back to my hotel room. 

So yeah now Siri and I are clearly best friends and I can’t wait to take photos of her again and hopefully end up at some awful party in the middle of nowhere because honestly how great would it be to go to even an awful party again. I mean we took a party bus home, do you have any idea how much I want to go on a party bus? And I have never wanted to go on a party bus.

I did it! I finished getting up all the photos from that lost folder from my trip to LA in the summer of 2019. The final gallery is of Khloe Kapri who I have shot a bunch before. I shot her with two girls first, and then I shot her by herself that same day, and then I shot her with Jane Wilde at AVN and then she ended up in my 2019 juggalo coverage which we will get to in a minute. I really like taking her photo and I think a big part of that is because she thinks about my photography the way I think about my photography.

The first time I met her I took a kinda unflattering photo of her eating pizza that she loved because she said it felt like her. She loved the raw and realness of it which is what I am always going for, so when we shot this time she didn’t put on any make up and she just hung out in bed on her phone and playing with her cats and smoking and just being herself, only with slightly less clothes on. That’s sort of my mantra when it comes to shooting girls: do what you would normally do, just without a shirt on. 

At some point during the shoot she was looking through some clothes and she remarked that she needed to go to a festival because she had all this porn shoot clothing that she had already shot in that could only be worn at something like EDC and I jokingly said she should come to the Gathering of the Juggalos with me. The festival was in a couple weeks but she didn’t have anything booked so she just bought a plane ticket which I was totally not expecting and ended up being a blast. I am like 90% sure she’s a juggalo now. Also while we were at the festival I made her watch a bunch of YouTube videos about aquariums because fish tanks are my midlife crisis and she ended up getting two fish tanks like a week later so my job here is done.

As I may have mentioned 100 times, I lost this folder of images from an LA trip in 2019 and I have been slowly getting all that stuff up over the course of the pandemic. I just have two galleries left and one of them is going up today: Audrey Noir.

When I got to LA on this particular trip I had assumed I was staying with a friend of mine, but as I tried to get his address and stuff I hadn’t heard back from him and I was real confused. I kept DMing him and not hearing back and it turned out he had been locked out of his Twitter and if I had just texted him like a normal person instead of Twitter DM everything would have been fine. But I am a moron and I had to find a hotel at the last second. I just got it for a few nights while I figured out a place to stay on the cheap but I fucked up and booked a hotel so god damn far away from everything. If I was gonna spend the money on a hotel I wanted to shoot in it, especially with the room’s weird blue walls, but no one wanted to come out that far, no one but Audrey Noir.

Audrey is a delightful weirdo that I got to shoot in a rubble pile back in 2017. It was pretty amazing. Since then she’s got some new boobs and is still super adorable and I put her in this strange blue corner of the room. I couldn’t figure out what the purpose of this indentation was for, but I popped on a flash and took some photos of Audrey pretty much stuck in the wall. I don’t shoot much flash these days but I think it worked. We didn’t shoot a ton of photos despite her long drive but I think you guys will dig them. There’s some sexy ones, some cute ones and some just straight up funny ones. 

I think we only one shoot from 2019 left. I have started writing down everything I shoot so I don’t lose another entire month of photos like I did with these and I have three shoots left on that list but one of the girls got a job teaching so I don’t think she wants me posting those but maybe she will change her mind one day and one of the shoots my camera battery died while I was on a damn canoe so I think there isn’t much digital stuff from that so that will probably end up as a Girls of DBB mini set exclusive or something (Update: I apparently already did this months ago. Search Veronica Rose on there to find them.) But we still have one set from these June/July 2019 LA trip photos left and it’s a good one!

Speaking of Girls of DBB these have been already on there (in high res) for a couple of days and I posted a preview of them on OnlyFans the day before which was kinda a cool new twist. My OnlyFans has been primarily videos but I am sort of running out so I have been posting videos 5 days a week instead of 7 and filling in one of those days with some photos, either something fun I found in my phone or previews of upcoming sets like this one. I sort of like that idea so I might keep that up, but who knows. Still got a lot of video left before I start really running out and hopefully by then I will have a whole lot more.

It’s the day after Thanksgiving and that means the Gods of Capitalism demand a sacrifice. I bequeath them 20% and now my things that I charge you money for are now only 4/5ths of their price as Adam Smith requires. I have put off doing this sale all day and I am not sure if it’s because of pure laziness or lack of sleep or just because I have no idea what to write about here but I guess I will just fill out this paragraph with these meaningless words and then just name some stuff you should buy from my store and explain why Girls of DBB isn’t actually on sale and plug the OnlyFans in there somewhere and be out. But what photo should I include at the end? I have no idea, but by the time you have seen this I have figured it out.

I guess we will actually start with the OnlyFans plug. My OnlyFans has 214 videos on it. Most of them are very short because they are like random snapchats and shit but seriously 214 videos is a lot of fucking videos even if they are only 10 seconds long.. There are some longer better one on there too and there will be more of that going forward because when I shoot new people I am filming specifically for OnlyFans but holy shit it’s only $5 a month and right now it’s only $4 because of the sale. I have only left NYC twice since January. The first time was a yearly trip I have done with three of my childhood friends where we all quarantined for two weeks and then back in September when cases were really low in NYC I went on a 24 hour road trip to my friends’ rental property Sparrow House in upstate NY with Kirra and Nina. We took a ton of photos in the short time we were there and I am going to have solo shoots with each of them coming soon, but let’s start out with some real pretty bathtub photos.

I had wanted to go up to Sparrow House to see my friends Mike and Sarah for a while but I didn’t want to take public transportation which is how I got up there in the past so I rented my friend’s van to go see them. But I figured if I was going to spend the money on the van and gas and tolls I should be productive at the same time. The area is absolutely beautiful (as you will see in the later shoots) and I really wanted to shoot there so I hit up Kirra who as you may know is one of my favorite models and she said she was down to go and told me her friend Nina Burns wanted to come too. I clearly was down for that and I picked them up at Kirra’s place right after rush hour one night.

We got up there fairly late in the evening and Mike built a fire and we were all hanging out around it but at some point one of the girls got cold or something and they went inside while Sarah, Mike and I continued our fire hangs until I got a text from Kirra. “Hey is it cool if we take a bath in this giant tub and also do you want to take pictures of it?” 

We had proper photo shoots planned for the next day but I certainly wasn’t going to say no to bath tub photos. Unfortunately the light in the room was absolute garbage and I didn’t think we were going to get anything good, but when I looked at the photos I actually thought they were very pretty so I did what every bad photographer does and converted them to black and white so you can’t tell how bad the lighting is. I honestly can’t tell you how much I hate the way digital black and white photos look, but sometimes it’s the only move you can make. 

Anyway, I can’t wait until you guys see the rest of the stuff we shot at Sparrow House but in the meantime if you want a preview there are a few color shots I took of Kirra and Nina by the river on Girls of DBB as part of this gallery. All these photos are there too but in high resolution. There’s also some video I shot of them on in the bathtub my OnlyFans today and I put up a real pretty video of Kirra at Sparrow House recently as well.

We got another gallery for you guys from that missing 2019 folder that I keep mentioning. Part of me felt real dumb for losing all these shoots but it has actually been a pretty great thing since I have been averaging like one shoot a month during this pandemic and I have no other way of making money than having you guys sign up for my pay sites or buy books and stuff from me. If I didn’t have this old content left I would be in some trouble. After today I will still have two more shoots left from 2019 so let’s see if we can space em out a bit. Fortunately I have some pretty good new stuff coming too. 

I think I met Ella Nova at this AVN House Party where we took an absurd photo together but honestly I might have met her previously or via the internets or something but I forgot about these photos for a year and a half so I wouldn’t trust my memory. I also have partied with Ella since we took these photos, and honestly it might have been the last time I partied at all. We went to some weird mansion on the outskirts of Vegas with her and Michael Vegas and Siouxsie Q and Siri Dahl and the whole thing was a pretty weird adventure and I think it was daylight when I got back to my hotel room and that was the last night I spent in a hotel room before the world ended. I know this is another pointless tangent but I actually didn’t even pay for that hotel room because I found dog shit on the floor of my room and asked the hotel manager if he would wave the resort fee and he accused me of trying to scam him and said the photo of the dog shit wasn’t real because the carpet didn’t match and we got into a screaming match in the middle of the lobby and he threatened me and I just sat there while he went and checked and then I made him apologize to me but he still wouldn’t comp the resort fee and so I complained to the site I booked the hotel room on and they gave me a credit for the room and then after I left a bad review for the hotel they also gave me my money back so I pretty much got paid to stay there and sometimes it pays to go Karen on a motherfucker.

Anyway, these photos of Ella Nova were supposed to be up a while ago but then I wanted to post something for Halloween and then this whole election thing got in the way. I didn’t feel like I should be promoting nudes as democracy hung in the balance, but that’s over now and it’s time to get back to photos of butts and stuff. Speaking of butts, Ella’s rules. For those of us who had a pretty heartbreaking day four years ago, yesterday was a moment of needed release. On Wednesday it became clear that Biden was going to win Pennsylvania and the hand wringing over Georgia, Nevada and Arizona wasn’t going to matter. But cable news networks had people in a panic that lasted for two more days. I had my camera bag packed that entire time just waiting for the moment we could celebrate in the street.

As soon as I left my apartment I saw people celebrating. My elderly Dominican neighbor who I have become friends with even though her English is even worse than my Spanish started pumping her first at me. My neighbors were standing on the street and yelling out their windows. It was pretty great. I decided to head to Washington Square Park but I got on the J train instead of the M because I wasn’t paying attention and instead of switching trains I decided to just get off in the Lower East Side and walk up a couple of miles to the park while photographing people in the street. Weirdly enough when I got into the city people were celebrating a bit but nothing really worth photographing. I got up to Houston Street and I saw some people across from me dancing so I walked over to them and realized one of them was my friend Ronen. He had already called an Uber and was headed to the park so I jumped in with him.

We got there before noon and there were a lot of people there but it wasn’t quite as crazy as I imagined, fortunately more and more people started showing up and it became the exact kinda party I was looking for. People were popping champagne everywhere, dancing to music and swimming in the fountain. Who would have thought the global climate crisis would come in handy and give us warm day in November. 

I have posted some of these photos already to social media and my followers on the right keep going off about “super spreader events” so let’s address the Covid concerns right away. There has been very little outdoor transmission. If you look at the science, the combination of being outdoors while wearing masks makes it incredibly difficult to transmit covid. There were also a lot of people there but it wasn’t exactly packed in and most people were wearing masks. Obviously there were some exceptions but as someone who is very paranoid about Covid I felt much more concerned on the fairly crowded subway ride home than I did at the event. 

Anyway, yesterday was so much fun, but today we gotta start working again. I did a lot of text banking for Biden but he is certainly not my choice of candidate. I wanted someone much more progressive, but even if a candidate that I liked won it wouldn’t have mattered with all of the down ballot races we lost. We had no pick ups of state legislatures and because of that Republicans will be able to continue to gerrymander the fuck out of their states and that can’t be changed for another decade. Any court reforms will have to wait because we only picked up one senate seat and even if we manage to somehow win both Georgia runoffs nothing will get done without Joe Manchin’s approval which means the most watered down policy imaginable. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try and win those races.

I bet a friend $200 Biden would win and I immediately donated half of my winnings to Fair Fight Action, Stacey Abrams Georgia based voting rights organization. She lost her Georgia governor’s race in 2018 because of voter suppression and she has spent the last two years registering voters and trying to turn out the vote and there is no doubt Biden would have lost Georgia without her. This is going to be the most expensive senate fight in history and I am just glad I don’t live in Georgia because they are gonna get so many damn texts and calls and TV ads that it’s going to consume their life for the next two months.

I almost never do themed shoots. I like real life. I like finding a model and a location and just shooting and seeing what we get. But at the same time, I think shoots with models should be collaborative. I usually have some vague suggestions if they ask about wardrobe (simple is better) or make up (as little as possible) but I am very flexible as far as that stuff goes. That has its limits and I still won’t do really elaborate themed shoots… with some exceptions…

Because of my hatred of themed shoots I didn’t think I had anything to post on Instagram for Halloween. I am certainly not going to a party or dressing up tonight so I started looking through old folders trying to find some old shoot that might work. And that’s when I found these photos of Stella that I would have bet $1000 I had already posted. Turns out I had not.

I have been trying to shoot Stella forever. I met her at some party years and years ago and we went on a date that ended with her thinking it was hilarious to punch me in the balls in the middle of a bar. Weirdly enough we did not go out again, but we still were friends and I pretty much just spent the rest of our friendship trying to photograph her instead.

Last it finally happened but I had to compromise on my no themed shoots thing. She happens to be both a comedian and a dominatrix and wanted to do something that worked for both of her personalities. I was working on a zine that got held up because of Covid, but I told her I would shoot her absurd comedy photos if she shot some stuff for me for this zine and we ended up with some sexy photos, some absolutely ridiculous ones and some honestly creepy ones.

I also should mention that I uploaded nearly 20 extra 35mm shots from this shoot as well as this shoot, all in high resolution to Girls of Driven By Boredom. Just saying. 

In the end I am glad I relaxed my no themed shoots thing a bit because 13 months later Halloween happened during a global pandemic and I wanted something to post on social media because I am not putting on again pants today and here we are with just the perfect thing for you all.

Back in 2016 I released Unrealized Projects, a set of black and white photocopied zines that were a little bit of a departure from the full color highly produced zines and books I had been doing up until that point. The New York Art Book Fair was coming up and I wanted something a little rougher around the edges and get back to my roots of doing black and white punk zines when I was in high school. The idea was to take some projects I had in mind that never really made it and make them into shorter zines and package them all together as part of a limited edition run. I was really happy with how they turned out.

Earlier this year I had some big plans for some color zines that I wanted to put out and I had started working on a Kickstarter to fund them and was all ready to launch but I had to film a video for it. I started working on it on my trip to LA in late January but I never finished it and I kept putting it off… and then coronavirus hit. I didn’t think I should be doing a Kickstarter when millions of people were out of work. A few months later the Black Lives Matter protests exploded and suddenly my ideas for zines just felt so pointless and I decided I wanted to something very slightly more meaningful.

During the quarantine I would still bring my camera with me every time I left the house to get groceries or whatever and I started documenting all the signs on shop windows about Covid. I just thought it was important to have a record of that stuff for myself. Once the protests started I was documenting as well. I also started shooting all the street art that came out of both events and decided maybe I could put all that stuff together and make something. That’s when I realized it was time for an Unrealized Projects Part 2.

The new edition is three more black and white photo copied zines, plus an insert that features a photograph on one side and information about the zines on the back. The insert is also signed and numbered out of just 50 copies. All four items are packaged together in an envelope with a sticker. Oh, did I mention it’s all just $15? It’s a pretty cool package. 

The three zines are as follows:

Sign Of The Times: This is the zine I described above which features a collection of images of litteral signs. Signs about Covid, graffiti/ street art and of course protest signs. A lot of these are just snapshots, but there are some nice portraits and things in there as well.

Mirror Mirror: This zine is a collection of nudes that I have shot using mirrors. Any time I am shooting in a place with mirrors I try to use them in shots. It’s honestly just an easy way to get a more interesting composition. I shoot a lot of behind the scenes stuff when I am shooting as well and girls doing their makeup in front of mirrors makes for good shots as well. Plus if one of these zines didn’t have nudity in it, most of you wouldn’t buy it. I know what you want.

We Are The Champions: This one is just for me (and maybe some of my friends), but I wanted to do something with all the photos I had from the 2018 Washington Capitals Stanley Cup winning championship season. I watch hockey with a bunch of people called the NYC Caps Crew and we do these huge watch parties during the playoffs and I took a ton of photos of us celebrating. After the Caps won I went to DC for the parade so it includes photos from that as well. It also includes other photos from meet ups through the year as well as the time I got to meet a couple of the players backstage at Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and the back cover had to be my Stanley Cup tattoo. I realize you guys probably don’t care about this one but it means a lot to me and there are some fun photos in it, so you are just gonna have to deal with it.
