PCP Roadblock used to end their sets by just breaking everything and acting a fool. At the very start of the video I do my flip and then they just “jam out”. This shit went on forever but I only uploaded a few minutes. These dudes were pretty fucking crazy.

I meant to be back in NYC 36 hours ago yet I just woke up and I am still in DC and I missed the DC2NY bus and now I have to figure out how I am going to pay for a train home which is going to be four times more expensive than the $22 bus.  I am hastily updating my website while I am getting my shit packed.  I have to figure out how I’m going to get my tuxedo home without wrinkling so I can wear it on New Years.  Speaking of New Years, I will be at the Rated X Vs. Trash Vs. Burning Angel throwdown at Don Hills.  It is going to be out of control and I am going to be out of control.  Other than my birthday it is the only day of the year I drink, and if you were at my birthday this year, you know how bad I am at drinking.  Something insane will happen I can promise that.  Let’s just hope I don’t break my camera.  Anyway, because I have not been back in NYC I haven’t really put together my guest list and I have to send it in tomorrow, so I may or may not have some spots left.  So if you are friends with me and want to go for free, get in contact with me and I will try to get you on the list.  For more information on the party, click here.

Speaking of New Years, on New Years Eve 1999-2000 we all thought the world was going to explode.  I was at two parties all night, my friends small hotel and drugs party and a bigger beer and more drugs party.  I was driving people back and forth as I was the only sober person we knew.  At the hotel party I wrassled my friend Dylan because he was very small, I was sort of in shape and we both were in to the WWF.  I had this clip sitting around a while but I didn’t really have any reason to post it, except in celebration of it’s 8th anniversary.  A few Halloweens ago I went as myself in 1999 and I wore these same ice camo cargo pants and way too tight he-man t-shirt. I don’t know what the hell I was thinking.  All my friends were ravers and despite my hatred of house I still wore some dumb fucking clothes… now 8 years later all my friend listen to nu-rave and I still hate house music.  And now I am fucking wearing skinny jeans.  I hope 8 years from now I don’t hate my current self as much as I hated my 1999 self.  Enjoy the video.

Pete Holmes is funny.  Really funny.  I watch a lot of stand-up and he makes me cry almost every time.  On Wednesday I asked him if I could record his set.  He said yes.  He was pretty out of control.  I laughed my ass off as you can hear on the tape.  It is a two-parter as it is about 13 minutes long.  His energy is something that you need to see live but I hope you can dig it as much as we  did.

I used to know this guy Dan who always hated me for some reason.  He drank a lot and did stupid shit for attention.  At some point in 2001 I posted a video of me stapling my arm on my website.  He decided that I was a pussy and that he would prove to everyone that he was the man.  Note the crowds engaging reaction.  He really showed me.

This is really old school Municipal Waste.  I just found this tape I made of them in like 2002.  This was some weird show in the brightest room I have ever seen at the University of MD. I drove down to the show with PCP Roadblock and we tried to represent Richmond, VA to the fullest. It was probably the worst Waste show I ever went to, but the only watchable footage I have of them.  Municipal Waste is going to fuck you up.

My old roommate Mike is back again.  At least in spirit.  I wish he would move back to NYC, but I don’t think that is going to happen.  A while ago I posted the song he wrote for me and today he sent me this YouTube clip of him singing it upside down so his chin looks like it is talking.  That never gets old, NEVER. I had planned on going to Richmond this weekend to see the Gaskets play and get a tattoo and see this girl I miss so I turned down a photo gig I wanted to do. Then I couldn’t get a ride to VA so I didn’t to go and I didn’t get in touch with the people about taking photos so I did nothing last night. And the way things are looking I might not get out of bed for days. I just want to sleep for ever. I have two good posts for tomorrow, including the last post in my A-Z nightlife series and I have a new Favorite Thing written in my head. Today however I am feeling very lazy so you just get this old video I have of this punk band I was friends with in college. The lead singer was this 40 year old astrophysicist or something but on the weekends he would just get really drunk and fall down on stage. They were pretty great. They were called the Strap-Ons and this is my favorite song by them, Six Pack To Go.

My friend AJ from way back in the day got arrested for jumping the White House fence. I read about this in the news, but I had no idea it was him until he sent me a myspace message today and I found this video on his profile:

While this video is extremely heartfelt and I feel for every single person who has had to fight in Iraq, but he was not always so heroic…  Although in some weird way Janicki may be some sort of bizarro world hero…

Evidently I too rolled with this so called “posse of slackers.”  Only I don’t remember much beer at those parties, mostly Special K, E and Cough Syrup… maybe the occasional baggie of meth.  I actually broke my straight edge in that apartment, smoking crack out of a light bulb just so I could say that I smoked crack before weed or drinking beer.  Although I didn’t touch anything again until I got drunk for the first time several years later on my 21st birthday.

I found this video today of him fighting a Teddy Bear on New Years eve 2000 at the same apartment with the same slacker friends. I always thought this was strangely funny and now I have a reason to post it.  Also, featured in the video is my “friend” Dylan who is now fucking this girl who got me jumped about a year ago and spread lies about me supposedly molesting her… I have done a lot of things in my life to get jumped before, but I didn’t do shit to her. I guess it is karma and thanks for taking my side Dyl… you’ve only been one of my best friends for a decade. Way to let mediocre pussy get in the way of that.
