So I am not sure where to begin. I have a few things to cover, and then a video of me sticking a large roofing nail into my skull. After reading my last post my friend Teddy suggested I tell more of the fucked up stories that happen to me seemingly every day. This girl at work said to me today “things are always happening to you”. She told me to write a book; fortunately I don’t have to; I have a blog. I think the reason my life is so insane is because at some point I decided that I had depression and I was never going to be happy and their was nothing I could do about it. Since that day, I have dedicated my life to the pursuit of interesting. I pretty much just live my life looking for a good story to tell. Case in point, on Saturday I was at Misshapes for about 30 seconds before getting invited to a small gathering on a rooftop. I was told I could invite some people. I invited everyone I could see in front of me. This was about 2 am. When I got to the rooftop I realized that 10 people on this roof would have been far to many. So when people started calling me to see what was up around 3:45 am I invited them all over anyway. I sort of just wanted to see what would happen if 40 people showed up to this two room apartment. Around 4:30 5 cabs full of people showed up at the apartment. At 4:45 I went to work. I am still not sure what happened with all the people. Now I am not sure what the point of this story is, but Teddy told me I should blog about it, so there it is.

I tend to lose track of my points when I ramble on for more than a few sentences so I apologize. On to other matters. I quit my job. I am not sure what I am going to do now, but I need to figure it out ASAP. Once again, if you know of anything, please let me know. Any photography jobs would be fantastic. I will shoot your party… or anything else.

Update on the Motherfucker pictures: The girls said they were on their way over here with the memory card. We will see what happens. They said all the pictures are still on the card.  Update on the update: I got the photos from them and we will have photos today, it just might be later tonight because I have some things (sleep) to do.  Check back around 10PM.

Lastly, the promised video. This video was shot in probably 2001 or 2002. My brother is in the background and he has short hair so it must have been a long time ago. I have long hair and the Baltimore Orioles hat I wore every day one summer. That was my hat from when I was a little kid. I think I look like an asshole in it. I am also fatter then. At this point in my life I was sort of obsessed with the sideshow and the circus and such. I read this sideshow message board every day until it shut down. At some point I realized there are only about 10 good sideshow tricks and once you see one sword swallowed you’ve seen them all. Anyway, this trick is called the Human Blockhead. I can still do it I think, although it would probably hurt a lot. I am very out of practice.

One of my favorite bands to see live was PCP Roadblock.  They moved to CA and I haven’t heard from them since, but we grew up in the DC scene together and then they moved to Richmond a few years before I did.  So I probably saw them 20 times over 8 years or something.  I have a ton of video, but this is probably the best of it.  This was one song after Dirty Bobby broke a beer bottle over his head and started bleeding everywhere like he was known to do.  Once I saw them open up for Gwar in DC and they pissed so many people off they basically got run out of town.  Some how the sprinklers got set off and destroyed a $20k mixing board and so the owner of the 930 club came down and hosed them off personally in the middle of winter after cutting the break line in their van.  It was insane.  Another thing to note in this video was that their bassist Mike decided he would play the entire show just bobbing his head up and down like he was in an early 60’s rock band.  This video was taken at the Tokyo Rose in Charlottesville, VA in probably 2002 or 2003.  Word.

My former roommate had this insane band. They were not good, but his performance was amazing. This is the second day I met him ever. He played a BBQ with the Gaskets at SXSW. Their guitarist was 14 and his parents came to the show. This isn’t the best footage, but you can see how insane that guy is. I miss him.

My friends found a broken digital camera at the Daft Punk show. We loaded the pictures on to my computer and I realized that one of the girls who shows up the most I made out with on my birthday. Of the 22 people I made out with she was number 22. Crazy. I was hoping I would see her again, but I never did until I saw these pictures. Anyway, I want to get these photos back to whoever they belong to. The camera is broken and the girl who found it took the memory card (although I could probably get it back). If anyone knows who’s camera this is, who who the girl I made out with (see below) is let me know. Also I went through the like 500 photos and 10 movies that were on the camera and found my favorite photos. You can see them here. Also, there is one video which I think was hilarious, so that is below.

Meet Bunny Black Jack AKA Willy Dictionary AKA Metal Vader AKA Will Battle Cole.  Mr. Cole dressed as the Daniel San in the shower scene in Karate Kid II. His friends dressed as the Cobra Kai. Then he got wasted and had to destroy his costume out of principle. It was just the only thing to do.

 In other news:  I need to sleep so I am not going to update again today probably.  Whenever I say this I usually end up updating anyway, but today my goal is to be asleep by 12:30 and sleep until 10PM.  Then I am going to watch the Wire until I go to Glamdammit at Rififi.  I hope to see you guys there.

Flaming Bag Head is the greatest sport on Earth. I am not sure why it is not in the Olympics. The concept of the game is that two people set paper bags on fire and wear them as helmets. The idea is to use your bag to set your opponent’s bag on fire. The first person to remove their bag loses. This is my friends Judge and Maria playing at William And Mary University in probably 2002 or 2003. Round 2 will be up on Monday and it features me and one of my best friends Tom in a much more exciting battle. I bet you can’t wait until Monday to see who wins.

By the way, if you have noticed this is the third youtube video I have posted in the last week. This is because I figured out how to put my logo on iMovie. I am going to be posting tons more videos over the coming weeks. Get pumped.
