If you are a regular reader of this website you are probably aware that I have been organizing every single photo I have ever taken. It’s taken me so damn long to do it and part of that reason is that I hate everything I do and I just get depressed looking at photos that I have decided I hate for whatever reason. I have been working on a portfolio for months now and figuring out how to make a few dozen photos reflect my entire body of work is the most frustrating thing I have ever done. It’s easy to edit a million photos down to a few hundred that aren’t awful, but almost impossible to get that edit down to a few that I actually love.

While I was doing all that I had this idea to go through all my 35mm work, which is my personal work, and pull every single image that I don’t hate that isn’t in another book or zine. When I was done I had an edit of 61 images and I decided I could make a decent zine out of that stuff, but it was just another folder full of photos in my endless collection of bad ideas I have for books and zines and art shows.

But then I realized the Kickstarter Make 100 project was coming up again. Every January they encourage makers that have used their platform to do a one off, short run project just for the point of creativity. This is the third year they have done it, and I really loved the idea but in 2017 I was in the middle of my Instaxxx book and last year I just didn’t have anything ready to go, but this year I had the perfect thing.

So I am going to make a book of 35mm photos I don’t hate. It’s going to be from the edit of 61 photos (probably much closer to 30 photos) and there are only going to be 100 copies made. Every one of them will be signed and numbered and the book is going to be square which I think will be a fun format to play with. 

There is also a limited edition of 25 books that will come with a 7″x7″ print (5 prints, each signed/numbered out of an edition of 5). It will have a variant cover and will have some additional photos and come in a fancy envelope! 

I just thought this project would be really fun to do, and super easy to execute. Shipping out hundreds of huge books was a nightmare last time I did a Kickstarter, but doing 125 small books will be a lot of fun and really simple to deal with. But don’t worry, I got a much bigger project in the works. My juggalo book is still coming soon!

Lastly, I wanted to give a big thanks to my photographer buddy Steve Prue for helping me film my Kickstarter video. It’s truly terrible, but that’s because I am awful on camera and I gave up editing after 30 minutes and just added ridiculous wipes and absurd sound effects so that my terrible editing would just look like a joke.

Don’t worry folks, this is going to be my last Dolphins related post of the season. I mean, I guess there is a tremendously small chance that the incredibly subpar Dolphins could somehow win their next 4 regular season games, make the playoffs and then win several more games after that and I would have no choice but to do a post about my trip to the Super Bowl, but let’s just say that’s unlikely. 

As I mentioned a while ago, I organize this big event when the Dolphins play the Jets in New Jersey. We do a pre-party the night before, we do a huge tailgate party on game day and then we sell tickets to the actual game. I have to imagine we do the largest away game event in the country for any football team, we certainly own the largest several group ticket purchases in MetLifeStadium history (and they have two NFL teams playing there). This year we sold 1100 tickets and raised several thousand dollars for charity since we (DolfansNYC) are a non-profit. 

Anyway, the game was way back in September, but the video is finally out now. Go watch it if you want. I am pretty proud of it.

I have done so much weird shit in my life that you probably wouldn’t expect based on everything else about me. I was thinking recently about creating a resume featuring just the stuff I have done that isn’t related to photography. The #1 thing on that list is founding the world’s largest Miami Dolphins fan club: Dolfans NYC.

Today Dolfans NYC released two videos from the events we through around the NY Jets/Miami Dolphins Monday Night Football game in December. My Dolphins won and we through one hell of a tailgate so I was happy even though our season was all downhill from there.

It took us a while to get the videos together but they are finally out. The first one is from the Dolfans NYC pre-party we through the Sunday before the game. A ton of people were in town from all over the country so we wanted to show them our bar Slattery’s and have some fun. It was a pretty good time.

The second video is the tailgate and footage from the actual game. We had 1200 people sitting together and it was a pretty amazing time even though it was fucking freezing. A ton of Dolphins players shouted us out after the game. It’s a pretty great feeling knowing that you impacted the game in some small way.

I know 99% of you don’t but if you want to know more you can read my post about it over on Dolfans NYC or go back and look at the original write up I did on DBB with my photos from the events.

This is it – the last episode of Road Strip! It’s been over a year since I returned from my 18 day Route 66 road trip and over a year since the book of my adventures came out. But the web series created from my journey kept the fun alive for more than a dozen episodes. That ends today. The 13th and final episode is finally out!

If you haven’t seen all (or any) of the very NSFW Road Strip web series, start at the beginning and watch the whole insane journey from Detroit to LA. (Route 66 actually starts in Chicago but it was way cheaper to rent a car in the Motor City.)

Thanks to all the models… Dixie Comet, Caprice Capone, Sidney Scarlett, Theresa Manchester, Charlotte Stokely, Annalee Belle, Ash Hollywood, Angel Beau, Coco Velvett and Miss Crash! And an even bigger thanks to Leeroy Meyers and the Wood Rocket crew for helping me fund this insane adventure and buying this super amateur web series from me. It’s pretty clear that I have no idea what I am doing video-wise but I think in the end these things came out pretty well.

The final episode features a day at the beach with Miss Crash. We drove down to the technical ending of Route 66 which is not at all marked before heading down to the ceremonial ending, the Santa Monica Pier. We got her naked in a Ferris Wheel (for the third time on my trip!) and then took her under the board walk for a few more photos. After I went back to her place and we shot a mini set that is available exclusively on the Girls of DBB app.

It was a pretty great day and a great end to my Route 66 trip and a nice ending to the Road Strip series!

The penultimate episode of my Route 66 web series Road Strip came out yesterday almost exactly a year after I released my Route 66 book Get Your Kicks. It stars Coco Velvett and Angel Beau. After the last episode I had to drop Ash Hollywood off in Vegas, which isn’t on Route 66 but only a few hours north. I had been staying in terrible motels for the last two weeks so I decided I would take a quick break at a nice hotel in Vegas and hang out in the pool for two days.

I hit up my pal Angel and she happened to be hanging out with Coco who I had been trying to photograph for years but shit kept not working out. I shot both of them in my hotel room and then we hung out at the pool all night. It was a pretty good time. I didn’t have a model planned for my last leg of Route 66 and Coco needed a ride to LA so it worked out and I took her with me.

The drive to LA is only four hours from Vegas but once we hit Barstow and got back on Route 66 the trip took a lot longer than that. We hit some cool spots like the Bottle Tree Ranch and the Wigwam Motel in San Bernardino and I also shot her at the World’s Tallest Thermometer in Baker which while not on Route 66 is still one of my favorite roadside attractions.

The shoot I did with Coco I decided to make exclusively available on the Girls of Driven By Boredom app. It’s a small set to begin with and some of the images are a bit graphic for this site, so I just uploaded everything in high resolution to the app. So you need it if you want to see the pictures. Also, there are a bunch of unpublished photos of Coco and Angel in the super limited What Happens in Vegas photo album print series I did.

Lastly, I should mention that my Kickstarter hit $2500 yesterday passing its second stretch goal. That means everyone who orders a copy of Dinner With Igor will get a free 5″x7″ print from the book! A new episode of Road Strip came out last week! It’s one of the best ones yet and stars Ash Hollywood. It’s really fun and in it we go to the Grand Canyon. I had never been to the Grand Canyon and it was really foggy and rainy and I was worried it wouldn’t be amazing because it was so cloudy. Turns out a big hole in the ground is fucking amazing no matter what the weather is like. Seriously, it was as impressive as people say it is. Plus the rain allowed for a bunch of public nudity!

We didn’t have to walk far to get away from people, but as we shot we could hear people walking the trail a few feet from us. We also could see people across from us the whole time we shot. If they just looked over they could have easily seen us. It was a lot of fun. I even made Ash take photos of me to send my mom.

The video has a lot of other public nudity in it and some hotels that look like tee-pees and another giant hole and a bunch of other fun stuff, but the Grand Canyon is certainly the highlight and I have all the pictures for you to check out too! I already uploaded em to the DBB Girls app in high res, but if you are impoverished and can’t afford my app they are here too now.

In other news my Dinner With Igor book Kickstarter is about $200 from where it needs to be for me to break even and not lose money so that fucking rules. A new episode of Road Strip came out a few days ago! I have been so insanely busy working on my Vegas photo album and my new book, Dinner With Igor, that I totally forgot to do a post about the new video!

The new episode takes up a few days after our last episode with Charlotte Stokely. When I left Stokely I had a few days without any models booked, but I was lucky enough to run into my friend Heidi in Oklahoma City and she spent two days on the road with me. She didn’t get naked and didn’t want to be on Wood Rocket since it’s a porn site and all so I left her out. We did have some fun adventures and even rescued two runaway dogs that were wondering the highway! I left Heidi at a bus station in Amarillo and met up with a Annalee Belle at the Cadillac Ranch. I was only with her for an hour so I guess none of that footage made it in the web series. After that I spent a day on the road by myself before ending up in Albuquerque.

Ash Hollywood just happened to be in Las Vegas at the time and it was an insanely cheap flight to Albuquerque so I flew her there and scooped her up at the airport. We made our way west ultimately detouring to Las Vegas so I could drop her back off where she started but that took us a few days.

This first episode is mostly just Ash naked in the car, and then naked in a swimming pool with some fun driving shots and some not so fun music in between. It’s not the most exciting episode, but there is a ton of nudity! The next episode with Ash is one of the best of the series though, so look forward to that… it has donkeys!

My Route 66 road trip adventure happened over a year ago, but the video series Road Strip keeps on trucking… The last episode featuring Charlotte Stokely went up today. She’s the most entertaining human ever and she is unreasonably attractive so these are some of the best episodes, but don’t worry, we have some great ones with Ash Hollywood coming up next! I’ve seen nearly all the rest of the episodes and you guys should be excited.

To celebrate the last Stokely episode I put three Polaroids of her, signed by both of us, in my Etsy store. They were taken at the end of my Route 66 trip when I ended up in LA. I need to get some extra footage of Charlotte so I stopped by her place and shot some Polaroids of her on her couch because when you hang out with Stokely if you don’t take her photo a lot you are fucking up. I also updated

I also put a bunch of additional Polaroids in my Etsy store including shots of Theresa Manchester, Calico Lane, Sasha Pain and Ashlee Graham. Plus there are still Polaroids available from Skin Diamond, Ash Hollywood, Janice Griffith and even Alysha Nett. And, on top of that I added 8″x10″ prints of two of my favorite summer time photos since summer is about to tragically end soon.

Anyway, you should watch this Road Strip episode because it features an excessive scene of Charlotte lotioning herself in my rental car, a giant Solo cup AND the greatest thing on Route 66… The Catoosa Blue Whale!!! Seriously the whale is the fucking best.

What’s this? Back to back babe posts? First Shay Laren and now another of my all time models Charlotte Stokely?! I didn’t plan it like this but the new episode of Road Strip went up yesterday and it’s my favorite one so far so I had to let you guys know all about it and celebrate the episode with a bunch of mostly unpublished 35mm photos of Charlotte Stokely from my Route 66 trip!

If you aren’t aware somehow, I went on a 31 day road trip last summer. The first 17 days were spent traveling Route 66 from Chicago to Los Angeles. I made a sold out book out of it and shot a TON of pictures. To help pay for the trip I shot a sexy and educational road trip series for Wood Rocket called Road Strip!

For three days of the trip Charlotte Stokely came with me. I picked her up in St. Louis and she flew home to Oklahoma City. Some of the best stuff of the trip happened with her and it looks like Wood Rocket is making three episodes out of it. The first one came out a month ago but it was pretty much just a teaser for the epicness that is this episode.

In this episode we go to the St. Louis Zoo an amazing wild animal sanctuary in Staunton, MO. We also go to the Catoosa Blue Whale which is a huge Route 66 highlight for me. And then the episode ends with some pretty explicit video of Charlotte in the shower which I actually shot for her website and really need to send her since it’s been over a year and both of us keep forgetting about it. I am adding that to my to do list right now Stokely!

But yeah GO LOOK AT THE NEW CHARLOTTE STOKELY EPISODE OF ROAD STRIP!
