Jessie Lee Photos For Deviant Nation
A long while ago I shot a bunch of photos for my friend and Adult Video Award nominee Jessie Lee for the soft core adult site Deviant Nation. Anyone who is a fan of this site surely knows who she is. When we shot these photos I sort of feel we bonded. We hung out for several hours and went to get food after. It was a good time. It was the first time I have shot an official set for an adult site since I did a couple sets for Suicide Girls over 5 years ago.
So Jessie Lee’s first set finally went up yesterday. It has had a pretty good response on the site. We shot another set together and when that gets up I am going to take a few of the best photos and put them up in a mini gallery. I wish I could post them all, cause some of them are really great, but I guess you are just going to have to sign up for a Deviant Nation account to see them. It’s pretty cheap. In the mean time you just get this one sample shot below. Sorry.

duuuude …. what is up with all the errors ???
I could pick this one apart for ever…. if youre gonna post these for the world to see.. at least make them almost perfect!!
My advice is to get a tri pod .. or learn how to hold the camera steady…. the subject is sooo sharp from that over powering flash… and the city around her is so blurry…. this makes for too weird of a juxtaposition … sorry .. turn up the iso .. with a shorter shutter … or tri pod !! pleeeeeease …. this shot hurts to look at!!!
I am not sure how you see that as an error and not a style choice.
I could have also put a filter on my flash, balanced the color temperature and the whole background wouldn’t be that orange color either
I know how to take a photo, I just like the way that looks, I like the long shutter and the sharp foreground.
If you don’t like my work, don’t look at it… I am not exactly holding up naked photos that I shot for a porn site as art…
fair enough .. but I went to school for this stuff for 5 years .. and after all my critiques … its hard for me not to want to spread the word and teach others how to make their photographs better .. I like some of your work .. and thats why I look .. I really like the dark picture of your dog above .. it looks like some weird cd cover ..
I have my BFA in photography. About the critiques I feel the same way, I criticize cereal box covers in the grocery store. But normally I don’t go on blogs and start talking shit anonymously and for no reason.
