Trash was pretty much the first party in NYC that I photographed. I don’t really shoot it anymore but I still have a lot of love for the party. Their 11th anniversary was last night and I knew I had to stop by Webster Hall at least for a few minutes to say hi. Upstairs Just Blaze and Harlem Shake DJ Baauer were spinning at the party Boys & Girls. My plan was just to stop by and say hi, but I ended up staying all night and photographing both parties.

I have two art shows today so I am going to make this quick but last night was pretty insane. Upstairs was packed like I have never seen it. Just Blaze absolutely killed it and little raver kids were crowd surfing to hip hop. It was pretty funny. Baauer took over after and those kids went crazy. I assume he played Harlem Shake, but I was downstairs at Trash for the end of his set, but I bet that place exploded when he played it. It’s not every day you get to see a meme DJ at the hight of their meme. Did I just actually type that?

Downstairs at Trash things got real weird. They did their normal 20 minute burlesque show at 2:30am and then filmed their own Harlem Shake video in tribute to Baauer spinning upstairs. These two events provided a lot of NSFW photos in this gallery, but I gotta warn you, between some wild boylesque and Sammi Sprinkles getting weird it might not be the nudity you were hoping for… But personally the weirder the better so I was pretty psyched about it.

Anyway, I gotta go deal with things and you guys need to look at these insane photos.
