Yeah, my Halloween pictures are a bit late, but I have been fucking busy. You need to get over it. In the last few days I have shot the Def Jam 25th anniversary party for XXL, shot this huge gala for NYU with all sorts of huge celebrities, followed around a bunch of Russian tourists documenting their trip for huge wads of cash, shot a full page ad for Friday Jones, threw a tailgate party and have tried to get ready for a 5 day trip to Austin Texas. On top of that I have done my normal every day stuff like shooting Webster Hall and the Fischerspooner thing.  I haven’t slept much, I am fully exhausted and losing my mind, BUT I can now afford my rent, pay my medical bills and get some new stickers made. Fucking sweet.  Unfortunately, I don’t think I can post the XXL or NYU stuff, but maybe I can one day.  I will let you know.

Anyway, on to these pictures.  I was supposed to shoot the Vice party for Vice, but I got this crazy job following the Russians around in their limo shooting pictures of them getting wasted and running around having good times.  But they must still be on Russian time because they were done partying around 130.  I made it to the Vice party just in time to miss the Bad Brains. The party was a mad house and even though I had a wrist band I was told to wait in some long line.  I called my editor at Vice and he told me he would come meet me.  I got a text from him saying he was trying to get me in but there was some crazy violence and just to wait a few min.  10 min later I got a text from him asking me where I was, but before I could respond my phone died.  I looked for him for about 15 minutes and gave up and went with some friends who were headed to Europa for the Fools Gold x Trouble & Bass throw down.

It was super later by the time I got there but it was still kinda banging and I think more people showed up as it got later.  Trouble & Bass were dressed like three little flying pigs and Nick Catchdubs seemed to be insane in the membrane so to speak.  I hung out for a while and met some cool kids in DC which will hopefully give me something to do when I go visit my parents over Thanksgiving. I didn’t shoot a whole lot because I had spent all night shooting Russians and because shooting Halloween is for amateurs. It’s just too easy to get weird stuff. I ended up leaving at what I thought was 430 AM because I had to be up early for the Jets/Dolphins game, but it turns out that there is this whole day light savings thing to contend with and I actually made it home by 4 and was asleep by 530 just in time to get 90 minutes before my tailgate party. Fun times.
