I shot this Vice party the other night. I will have the main update for that party tomorrow but I wanted to get up these Ninjasonik photos today because I told Telli from Ninjasonik I would. I went to bed at noon and woke up at 7:30 PM so it is a bit hard to get a lot done before I go out tonight. Since I was laid off my lifestyle has not been very healthy.

Anyway, I saw Ninjasonik briefly at a Girl Talk show… they came out with The Death Set, but I had never seen a full set. I enjoyed their cameo and I follow them on Twitter, so I was excited to see them. After their first or second song someone came up to Jah and poured a beer on his head. The bouncer at the club flipped out and tried to pull him away. Ninjasonik told the bouncer it was cool and gave the guy another beer. He immediately poured the beer on Jah again. The bouncer lost his shit and I think kicked the guy out of the club. Ninjasonik got on the mic and said “If you had a problem with that, you are going to hate this. Let’s tear shit up.” They then performed karaoke versions of Minor Threat by Minor Threat and Attitude by Bad Brains. As a fan of the DC punk rock, (see last post) I was fucking ecstatic. The mosh pit was pretty epic for a reasonably small crowd and shit got fucked up. I would have more photos of this, but I was too busy thrashing and singing into the mic myself. Shit, a quote from Minor Threat (the song) was my quote on my yearbook page. Anyway, it was awesome enough that I had to Twitter about the epicness of it, and Jah tried to steal my phone for being on it during his show. I thought that was pretty funny.
