Driven By Boredom 7 Year Anniversary!
7 years ago today Driven By Boredom opened it’s doors. I meant to do something special for it, but I completely forgot until late last night. I talked to DJ Jess about celebrating it at Trash in the next few weeks, but that is up in the air. So for this update I am just going to show you what I was doing back in March of 2001.
- At that time most of the photography I did was of punk bands. It was not very amazing, you might dig on it anyway.
- Here is a collection of some photos that I took that I thought were pretty funny for whatever reason.

- I used to hang out with homeless people all the time.
- Here is what I looked like pre 2001.
- I used to sell funny things on ebay… I got written about on Wired.com and I had to answer a lot of questions.
- In 2001 I was a pretty big CKY2K fan. I had to make dumb videos of me hurting myself.
- I used to make lip sync videos to 80’s songs. I would have been a friggin’ star if YouTube existed back then.
- I was in an honest to god riot in March of 2001 but all the photos I took sucked.

I don’t know how many hardcore fans this site actually has but I consider myself one (just ask my girlfriend). I have been visiting since just after you opened. I had just dropped out of high school and gotten my first boring ass desk job and was searching for boredom when I found this site. It has changed a lot but I have loved every bit of it and although I have no actual connection to the site it is very much in sync with my life. So, thank you Igor for being so bored and awesome. Just wait until you see the disgusting mustache I’m working on.

thats pretty amazing. this site really was a community back in the day. i am going to work to make steps to get the site back to the way it once was. more interactive features and such… i have a lot of plans if i could ever get them organized….
