The CMJ Music fest is quickly approaching and to celebrate I am going to be posting a lot of god damned posts about the band I manage, The Gaskets.  I am going to post several new Live mp3s this week as well as debut their new website, inform you of shows and plug our new t shirts.  It is all very exciting.  I took photos with my friend Jamie last night to advertise the girls shirts and the outtakes are going to be up in the next post.  Some of them are pretty sexy.  Once I get photos of the guys shirts we will put them in the store and you can buy them and it will be oh-so-exciting.  So… you want to see the Gaskets for yourself?  Well Wednesday you will have the chance.

The show is free if you have a CMJ badge.  I am not sure how much actual tickets are, but I am sure it’s way worth it.  The Gaskets were just two guys, but now they have 5 guys, and may be even better.  To listen for yourself please download their hit Easy Life as performed by a real actual band like thing.

Also the Gaskets are going to be playing two after parties.  We are playing the Wednesday one as per the below flyer and we are playing the Friday one as well, it is just not on the flyer.  These shows you can only get into with a CMJ badge.  I have a few guest list spots, but you have to have a damn good reason for me to give one of those out. Yup Yup.

Lastly, Teddy the lead singer of the Gaskets is going to play one song to track around 2AM at Trash on Friday.  We are going to be giving out 50 live DVD’s at the Trash party, so now you have even more of a reason to go to that.
