Back when the AVN Awards were at the Hard Rock Hotel I did so many mini photo shoots on the parking deck roof or in my rental car in the parking lot or wherever I could find a place to spend five minutes shooting photos with a model when she had a quick break from signing autographs or partying or whatever else people do in Vegas during a porn convention. The AVNs recently have moved to Resort World and I didn’t know any of the good hiding spots yet, but when I parked my rental car near a stairwell I realized it was the perfect place to shoot. 

I tried to shoot several people in that stairwell but it was in a lot that was adjacent to the hotel and you had to go outside to get there which means a) they had to go outside in the cold wearing skimpy clothing b) they had a ten minute round trip walk in high heels. So pretty much everyone flaked, which happens at lot at AVN anyway.

On Friday night I ran into Dylan Moore, who I recently shot in New York. (I have two NYC shoots with her to publish already.) The convention was about to end when I ran into her and she mentioned she had a hotel with a great room we could shoot in, so we drove over there, but before we did, I finally got to shoot someone in that stairwell because I had once again parked my rental car right next to it. Dylan immediately hung herself over the 4th floor railing which scared the absolute shit out of me given that I once was sued by Larry Flynt and an Instagram famous douchebag over a girl breaking her foot “falling” off a roof on a shoot I did for Hustler. Once I got her to stop that we shot a bunch of film and Instax and didn’t really shoot much digital, but I still have a handful of photos for you. (Plus a full hotel shoot with her still to come.)

One of the people I talked to about shooting in that stairwell was a model I met at the convention named Michelle Masque. I had tried to shoot her during the day on Friday and it didn’t happen so on Saturday when we finally met up I figured we could just go to the main parking garage and shoot on the roof. The problem was it was so bright out and the shadows were so harsh. I took some daylight flash stuff with my point and shoot 35mm camera so that might end up being cool, but a lot of the stuff we shot was pretty harsh. Still, we got some nice stuff I think. Plus she got to try on an outfit she had just bought and found out it was a little too big, so she was able to return it right after the shoot and so it worked out for everyone.

Shortly after my shoot with Michelle I went to the hotel Starbucks to get a coffee and I ran into my buddy CJ and his wife Sania Mallory who I really wanted to photograph. They were just going home so I said why don’t we do something quick on the parking garage before they bounced. Fortunately, in just the half hour between my shoot with Michelle and my shoot with Sania, the sun had gone down enough and the light was absolutely perfect. I photographed her and her and then her and CJ together and then I ended up shooting her with this dude Tiny Smallz who was staying with them. And then finally I shot them all with their other friend David for a nice family portrait.

Lastly, a few hours later I ran into my old pal Goldie Fawn. She was one half of what was maybe my favorite AVN shoot of all time and is in my new zine Off The Hook. I don’t think I seen her since we shot back in 2018, and I really wanted to take her photo this year but it hadn’t happened yet. Fortunately when I ran into her in the hotel lobby she had just finished walking the AVN red carpet and she had a few minutes before she had to go back into the awards show, so once again we went to the parking garage. I had to get some cameras out of my rental car so we ended up just shooting her on my rental car in her incredible gold red carpet dress. This shoot was so quick and we got so many fun shots. Goldie rules and I am so glad we got to do this quick shoot right only an hour before I went to the airport to head back home.

A couple of months ago Jade Baker was in NYC and hit me up about taking some photos. Obviously I was down since the previous times we have taken photos have been really great. The only problem is, my back is endlessly fucked and I was between the giant injections I get in my spine so that I can walk.

Because I couldn’t move, she came over to my apartment. It was in the evening so there was no natural light and honestly I don’t really have any place to shoot so we just took some photos on a white wall. Jade is hot so it’s fine, but they weren’t that great. I figured I could salvage it using the harsh flash on my 35mm SLR and shooting some black and white photos since black and white is cheating and even ugly light looks good. Unfortunately the 20+ year old SLR broke and all the film got exposed to light and the black and white film got fucked up because I am an idiot. This is the price you pay when shooting film, and I have had many rolls ruined over the year, but never twice in the same week. Like that is just insanely bad luck.

We did have some good luck though which is that I recently got another spine shot (it’s actually three shots) and then I went to Miami for 24 hours to see my Caps lose to the Florida Panthers in the playoffs and my flight got in about six hours before I had to be at the game. Jade also just happens to live not too far from the Ft. Lauderdale airport where I flew in. I grabbed a rental car and drove straight to her place. We managed to eat at Margaritaville because I thought that would be hilarious, but it was actually terrible, and then we drove out to some sort of park on a swamp. 

For whatever reason there was no one at the park. I am not sure if it was because of how hot it was or because it was in the middle of the day or what but I think we only saw two people the whole time we were there. That allowed her just to get completely naked in the middle of the park and we shot a bunch of photos. A runner did catch us shooting, but I am pretty sure he didn’t care. It is Florida and all, I am sure he’s seen a lot crazier shit running through a swamp. 

Anyway, TL;DR is that I have not one, but TWO shoots with Jade. The inside shoot is photographically worse, but it’s actually a bigger set and is a bit more graphic, but the out door shoot is really pretty and a lot more fun. So what that mean is that you get the outdoor shoot for free, but you gotta sign up for Girls of DBB for the indoor photos. It’s a fair trade I think. There’s also a couple videos from both shoots on my OnlyFans. Listen, while I can’t walk I gotta make a living somehow. It’s either that or buy my damn NFTs. If you actually read this madness that I write with all the photos I post you will be familiar with this lost folder of photos from a 2019 trip to LA. I even mentioned it in my last post. Well, today we get one step closer to clearing out that folder, but I think there is still three more shoots left. I would bust them out all in one week or something but I am averaging like one photoshoot a month right now so having unpublished stuff is probably a good idea for now…

Anyway, this shoot was probably the most fun of that whole trip. I reached out to the amazing Corwin Prescott who always shoots in the most beautiful places to ask him if he had any ideas for places to shoot in LA and he recommended Malibu Creek State Park. I googled it and was very excited about this swimming hole that is pretty deep in the park and I reached out to Jade Baker about going with me. I love taking her photo and she seemed like the perfect person to bring on a mini adventure.

Our plan was to find the first place to shoot that we could and get a bunch of digital stuff and then hike to the swimming hole and try and shoot photos there if we could manage it without people seeing or we would just go swimming and still have the first shoot. Perfect plan.

We realized we could hike down a hill to the creek and there wouldn’t be anyone who could see us from the main trail. I shot her climbing a burnt tree and then we took some shots in the creek itself but it was such a sunny day that it was hard to get anything well exposed. I could give you a little explanation of the Zone System here but I won’t because I’m not a monster. So we found a fallen tree in the shade near the creek and did the rest of our digital shoot there. She had burnt tree all over her at this point but it actually made for some cool photos.

From there we hiked into the park and took some 35mm photos along the way. She actually climbed a water tower or something because she is an incredible bad ass. (There is a video of that and a couple other clips on my OnlyFans today!) We took a bunch of other pictures in the park including a few shots in this rock formation that I really loved. 

When we finally reached the swimming hole it was predictably crowded and we couldn’t shoot any nudes or anything, but the water was wonderful and we swam a bunch and took some more 35mm photos of her on the rocks and things like that. I got to jump off a giant rock myself which was real fun and there were a bunch of people cliff diving which was also entertaining to watch. 

After our swim we hiked back to our cars and said our goodbyes and I couldn’t wait to get the film developed. I got so much good 35mm on that trip that I published it all on Girls of Driven By Boredom. (That’s a direct link to the gallery since it was posted over a year ago.) Back in January when I was in LA I was a little frustrated with some shoots that had been canceled and feeling like I was spending a bunch of money being out there and not getting enough work done. Fortunately I did one shoot that I think made up for all of it. I drove out to some decommissioned military base on the coast with Aiden Ashley and Leda Bear and we did a really epic shoot both at the base and then down on the shoreline. I think we got some great stuff, and we shot so much stuff that I am actually breaking it up into two parts.

The first part that I am bringing to you guys today was at the military base that no longer exists. There was almost no one there, but you could see us from all directions so we had a look out helping who would yell to us if anyone was coming and they would cover up real quick or hide. It worked out pretty well and we were able to shoot there for maybe 20 minutes or so before escaping. I shot a ton of Instax and 35mm stuff too so be on the lookout for work from this shoot to end up in books and zines in the future. Plus after we did the two shoots I shot Aiden for another project that I was working on before the coronavirus hit that has been pushed to the backburner but will hopefully happen eventually.  Speaking of the coronavirus, I love how apocolyptic these photos are, even though they were shot a couple months before the actual apocalypse. 

Okay, now I should mention the content you can pay extra money to see. These photos have already been up for a day over on Girls of DBB in high resolution with some bonus, more explicit shots. Time for a momentary break from the unending nightmare that is this current moment in history. I got some photos for you that you might like of Alex Grey shot in about 10 minutes as the sun was setting in Las Vegas back in January. 

I had met Alex at one of the bars at the Hard Rock during one of the first nights of AVN and we quickly decided we were going to shoot while we were both in town. Unfortunately that week is completely insane and we didn’t have any time to meet up. I had a late flight on the Monday after AVN and she was leaving that same evening to go back to LA so we scheduled a shoot for that day.  But of course something had to go wrong and when Alex went to check out of her hotel she noticed that she had a flat tire. So we planned to meet after and I went and hit some flea markets with my friends from Wood Rocket but it was getting later and later and I hadn’t heard from her. 

I texted her to see what was up and she was still somehow at the tire shop and had been there for like 5 hours just waiting on a tire. I told her I would just meet her there and we could find some way to shoot somehow and she said sure so I left the flea market, got in an Uber and met her at a tire store. The sun was going down but the light looked really nice. But of course right as I got there her car was ready. It took another 10 minutes for her to get paid and get out of there and the whole time I am just watching the sun go down, just mildly panicking.

One of her friends was waiting with her and had a big pick up truck and we saw that behind the tire store there was a big gravel lot and we all jumped in his pick up and drove about 100 feet to the middle of the lot. It was hidden a bit unless you were driving on that road or happened to be in the drive thru at a fast food restaurant on the other side of the lot and we figured we could make it work. I am sure a few people saw what we were doing but we did the whole shoot so fast that I don’t think we upset too many people… Besides she was only topless… 

You can tell how fast the light got away from us because the light changes so dramatically in the photos from the beginning to the end but I still think we got some really nice shots. I got some 35mm I was really happy with as well. I also shot a short video as well which you can see exclusively on my new OnlyFans account. And speaking of giving me money for nudes, you can also see these photos in high resolution on Girls of DBB. Just saying. 

Okay, that’s all I got for you today. I should just mention that Alex rules and I am so glad we got to do a shoot just a few hours before I had to leave Vegas for my flight. I cannot wait to shoot with her again. And thanks to the Wood Rocket crew for not only taking me to the airport but also buying me some insane buffet dinner right before I left. Ended up being a pretty fun day…

I have shot Kasey Warner many, many times. She is one of my favorite people and pretty much anytime I go to LA we shoot something even if it’s just something random. I have shot her in Vegas and NYC as well. I have done a bunch of shoots with her with other girls as well. I have an upcoming shoot that I haven’t published with Chloe Cherry that I shot at her place for example. She isn’t in the actual shoot, but I took a bunch of 35mm shots of the two of them together. The point of all this is that this is only the second actual shoot I have ever done with her. You can see the first one here.

These photos we shot last time I was in LA and I realized that I am about to go to LA again and so I should get some of those photos up. I have a bunch of stuff from that trip that I haven’t looked at other than to pull a few photos for the models. (Tip for photographers, get models a few images right away so they don’t get pissed that you don’t do anything with the full shoot for months.) We went on a hike in Griffith Park shot a bunch of photos in this little dead end area we found. We could have been seen by a bunch of people, but I think we managed to pull it off without getting caught. That’s always fun.

After the shoot we went to get some food at a diner called Brite Spot and while we were eating there was a 7.1 earthquake. I had briefly been awakened by an earthquake the day before, but this was the first time in my life I had really been aware of what was happening. All the chandelier’s in the restaurant were shaking and people were completely freaking out. I have lived in Brooklyn too long and my immediate thought was that I would look “uncool” if I tried to run for cover so I just sort of sat there and took it in. I didn’t really realize how big it was and looked outside and noticed the traffic light poles were swinging about 3 feet in either direction. In the end everything was fine and honestly it was really fun.

Happy 2020 guys. I got some cool stuff coming this month including a new Kickstarter 100 project, my yearly trip to the AVN Awards and my “Best of 2019” update which means I need to get to my “Best of 2018” update because apparently it doesn’t exist. Hopefully blogging about this will keep me accountable or something. Anyway it’s been a minute since my last update with the Christmas and New Years break so let’s get you guys some photos.

Back in August I was at the Gathering of the Juggalos, but I had to be in Miami the following Thursday so I decided I would just fly straight to Florida to save money. I had to be in Florida for a few extra days but I figured I could take advantage of it. I flew into Orlando and rented a car and photographed my friend Veronica Rose (aka Ay Dubz) on this river somewhere. I grabbed my digital camera but I left the charged battery in the car and we had to canoe to the shoot so I only got a few photos in before it died. I mostly wanted to shoot film though so it wasn’t a big deal. 

The next day I drove down to Miami and stayed with Abella Danger for the night. I helped her put her new bed together and we were supposed to shoot the next morning but we woke up late so once again I just shot film of her really quickly. I did get some nice stuff out of it though. 

From there I drove north to meet my friend Michelle to go to a Dolphins game and on the way I stopped off at Karlee Grey’s place and we did a shoot on a beach. IIt was really bright and there were a bunch of people on the beach and we didn’t have much time, but I shot plenty of digital stuff and she is unreasonably attractive so you got some great photos to look at.

I ended up being really late meeting Michelle for the game because right as we were finishing shooting someone walked past us and then walked about 100 yards and turned around and she got stuck in the water completely naked while we waited for them to very walk by us again. Anyway, Karlee rules and hopefully one day we get to do a shoot under more ideal situations.

I love taking photos of my friend Sammy. She lives less than two blocks from me and she will text me in the middle of the night about taking photos and we just walk around shooting stuff in public. One of the first shoots we ever did was pretty much the same thing back in 2013 before we were even neighbors and now it’s a regular occurrence. 

As I was trying to think of something to update the site with before I left town for the holidays I thought of Sammy. I had a few mini shoots of her that I had never published as well as a bunch of 35mm photos. I also had some photos of her in the snow on a rooftop that I put on Girls of Driven By Boredom, but never on here. I figured I could mash them all together and make a good gallery for you guys. Literally an hour after I pulled all the photos, Sammy hit me up and asked me to photograph her in this crazy latex mask she bought. I told her about my public nudity mash up gallery plan and said this would be perfect for it, so at 1am we left the house and took some very weird photos. Even when she had clothes on we got a lot of funny looks walking around.

Before I finish this post I should mention that I am leaving town tomorrow, headed to Miami for 24 hours and then on to DC for the holidays. More than a month ago I had this idea. I wanted to go to Vegas to photograph a few models there and I couldn’t really afford the trip. I remembered a few years ago I made this “What Happens in Vegas” photo album to pay for a trip to Vegas and I thought maybe I should do a second edition of it. And then I started thinking about other ideas and I ended up with the idea of doing a “Vacation Photos” photo album, but we will get to that in a second. I organized a good edit of photos, put it for sale in my Etsy store, and was getting ready to release it when my life fell apart. If you don’t want to be guilt tripped into buying stuff, feel free to skip a paragraph. 

First my website got hacked and I was dealing with that for weeks. People suggested I should do a GoFundMe to pay for fixing it, but I always want people to get more than they pay for, even when just trying to support my work, and so I figured this Vacation Album would be a perfect way to pay for my website fees, so the project was still a go, and maybe I could just go to AVN in January a few days early. I was all ready to post about this when my roommate died. Aside from the trauma and depression from all of that I currently don’t have a roommate and the place is nowhere near ready to show. All her stuff is still here. Long story short, is that for all the people who wanted to help out with my website being fucked, or help with my other horrible situation, this is your chance. This album is fairly expensive, but buying anything from my store right now (or signing up for Girls of DBB) would help a lot. 

Anyway, let’s talk about the “Vacation Photos” album. The album will be an actual old school photo album, one of the cheap corny looking ones that you would get at a 1 Hour Photo lab. I bought 10 of them already and they are a mix of different colors so each color will be super rare. Each album will contain 64 actual 4″x6″ prints of my 35mm road trip work. It will be a good mix of nudity and roadside attractions and landscapes. The idea is that you would put it on your coffee table and people would pick it up thinking it’s an actual photo album from a vacation, only it will have a bunch of porn stars getting naked in public in it. Each album will be hand titled and signed on the inside back cover. There will be a VERY limited number of these. The Vegas album ended up being an edition of only 15 and my plan is to do 10 of these unless I sell a bunch this week, but at $150 each I cannot imagine I am going to sell a ton. But they make one hell of an Xmas present. Oh, and they come with a free postcard!

Speaking of Christmas, my plan was to get these to people before Christmas and I am still going to try but it somewhat depends on my photo lab. I am going to finish the edit this weekend and send them to print Monday, so hopefully they will all go out on the 20th, but if not I will ship them on the 30th when I get back from seeing my family for the holidays.

Below I am going to post some examples of the type of photos you will see in this photo album, but keep in mind this isn’t the final edit. I would imagine most of these will make it in the album, but I haven’t made any decisions yet. There are a few more on Girls of DBB too.
